Simples e divertido. Com algumas visões interessantes das artes mágicas, tais como bruxaria e alquimia ou ciência hermética. Um visual caprichado e inspirador. Lógico que não é recomendado a todos. Só aos bravos!

A short game that leaves you with more and more desire to know the story.

The game has aspects that will leave you very entertained. Like the feeling of seeing things through a window. A sense of danger and constant tension. A modern fairytale with a fantastic look.

Neon Chrome is a game to play multiple times!

Welcome to the 80's, where everything is chrome and shines like neon. The atmosphere of the game is very adequate and the senses are flooded with music and images that take us to a skyscraper that is the seat of the organization that dominates the society. Your goal is to reach the top where the leader is and force him to surrender. You will do this by using clones and operatives specializing in incursions. Their control over these operatives is made through an equipment that lets them enter their minds through an operating system and data network.

I know, I know ... it's a lot like Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, Tron, Blade Runner, Total Recall and other Sci-Fi classics. But this is good! That is the proposal. The elements of these classics are all there. Like the Matrix immersion chair, the first Boss that reminded me of the end of Ghost in the Shell, the music and colors of Tron, the buildings of Blade Runner.

The art of NC is very well cared for to convey the right feel to this kind of story. Drones, computers, armed agents, lasers, neon lights (obviously!), high buildings where don’t see the ground, everything is there. The models are not very detailed. This is evident when you open the pause menu, but since distance of view leaves these models smaller, this is not a problem. They are varied types of characters that we can control and fit well the class to which they belong. Weapons vary by color and size (since the weapon models are very similar). The backgrounds are adequate too. The animations are interesting but not very varied. There could be a set and more stranded, but that does not affect the game so much.

The sound of the game is a show apart! The music score are perfect for the environment and nostalgia will affect you for sure. These are good-sized compositions that remind you of even those great movies I quoted up there. Look for the OST because it is very good. I'm listening here now! Sound effects are cool. Like animations, the effects could have a greater variation and personality, but they are good in general.

The gameplay is a top down shooter that requires you to watch out for enemy shots. Each weapon has a different amount of shots and reload time, and you will, over time, evolve your weapons making them more powerful and faster. There are different types of ammunition that affect enemies differently: drones are most affected by laser shots while plasma injures humans more. No spoilers! It's cool to find out how each enemy reacts with each weapon. (Although this does not vary its animation, what a pity!). The strategy involved in destroying apparatus and obtaining keys are at all stages. Some walls are destructible and others are transparent causing the enemy to see and chase you. But do not worry, they're not very smart. The game is procedural, but some stages mark your progress. One clever thing in this game that I noticed is that Bosses are very difficult when you reach them the first time, so you repeat the stages several times to upgrade your character and only then can you defeat him. Hmm interesting design! I can not forget to say that ogame allows local cooperate, which makes the game more fun!

Neon Chrome supports Mods and in a very organized way. The community has all kinds of things that teach you how to make different models and how to apply. This one I tested! And there are several other mods with pertinent changes that will please you.

In summary, NC is a fun and challenging game that will take you a few hours and there is also a DLC with a multiplayer arena if you feel good enough to go to war! I grew up in the 80's and got lost from the rest of the world playing Neon Chrome.

Long Live the Nostalgia! Go Play!

Do you like Diablo I and II? So you know Grim Dawn. No? Well, you should!

Before you begin read, let me say that I will make a short review. Long reviews take the pleasure of discovery!

Unlike this review, Grim Dawn is a game that you know will be long. Despite the rapid introduction with you surviving the unexpected and forgetful, the game has long texts (some dubbed), with every detail of this world and explained dramatically motivated missions. This can scare the novice in ARPG's this kind. Especially the assembly of your character, the amount of power'ups, weapons, armor, spells, special attacks, is huge and as if this were not enough, your character does not have to follow a pre-established trend (classes, professions or races). They exist, of course, but you can choose more of a trend, or path, or simply, after all ready process, reallocate skill points. The possibilities are very varied. Same!
The story of Grim Dawn, as the name warns us, is very hard and sad. Sometimes bothering. Demons, undead, natural evil forces, ancients spirits. All this seems to have destroyed life as we know. And the places look all destroyed and abandoned of human life. You are a kind of chosen who survived a possession experience. Now you help those who saved and you and earn your trust, making increasingly dangerous and difficult missions. There are rescue missions, destruction, killing or collecting.

The art of GD is stunning and thorough. The scenarios you visit are very well looked after in every detail. The destruction and appearance of evil seen everywhere is clear and thoroughly planned, as the paths where you can walk and where you cannot. The models both the character as the enemies are incredibly well done. The items in addition to carefully designed, when equipped appear in the character changing their appearance. Amazing! The monster design itself draws attention to the variety of creatures.

The sound is immersive and dense. The songs are wonderful! Some seem Orchestral other acoustic, or heavy metal guitars. All with a very somber mood. The effects are also first-rate. Do you recognize the kind of monster that is in an area without even seeing it. Some dialogues are voiced and the voices are good. Not fantastic, but they are good quality.

The gameplay is as I said: Diablo II, mostly. The game takes you a lot with the assembly of the character and crafting. And loot, loot, loot and more loot! There are portals that facilitate their progress around the world, as you will want? Back a lot to places to sell loot and buy items. It's a huge world! Beautifully decorated for the apocalypse!

A single default hanging over our heads in GD. The story is so dense and sad that sometimes becomes unattractive and you will skip some text or get a little bored.

If you like big games and that make you go terrifying scenarios to look for loot, Grim Dawn is waiting for you!
