I used to be a KDE Plasma user for years but I didn't find myself comfortable using it anymore. The workflow seems outdated, distracting and complicated to use. It's good to have it and good that these DEs can exist together, I don't see any reason to fight over them. I'm Windows-free since 2009 and switched to Linux with my very first computer, so I never really understood this taskbar/start-button UI mindset and I find myself most productive with GNOME.

@Sophesticated: It's rare these days, used to be much worse back in 2013-2018. People got used to Steam supporting more platforms, especially since Steam deck was released. Now it's just a fraction of people dealing with some kind of a fear of the unknown for no reason. I think it's great that Steam supports OSX and Linux. PC gaming should be pushed further as open market where major platforms can meet and people can choose. Thanks for your comment :steamthumbsup:
