Sorry for the short review but I had to say it. This game is one of my favorites after just one playthrough. Only thing that annoys me is how much the story branches...and that's because I know I will never get to them all.

Do NOT watch youtube playthroughs if you plan on purchasing the game; it will steal some magic away from it.

This game has successfully made me laugh out loud as much as it has broken my heart.

The music fits perfectly in each environment and boss battle, settingg just the right mood without taking attention away from the level.

At first I was skeptical of the battle system, but the way the game utilizes the player heart is unique to say the VERY least. That's all I'll say about it.

I recommend this game to those wondering if role playing games are dead. I recommend it to whomever claims that all RPGs are the same. For once, a game lives up to the hype...and surpasses it in grandeur.
