In its core the game is so good. Characters are fun to play, movement is immaculate. Overall the gameplay is satisfying to play. BUT thats pretty much it for the positives. Actual bugfixing ( audio has been ♥♥♥♥♥ for YEARS) , cheaters, ranked system, matchmaking has been neglected ever since the game came out. Instead they heavily focus on squeezing money out of you by introducing FOMO events for skins, making more and more 500€ (!!!] cosmetics you have to gamble for to get them. With the newest announcement of the new battlepass price changes is hopefully thier wakeup call.

This game was a blast to play when it came out but seeing the trajectory this game is going and by how the devs just dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about the players , i dont recommend this game.

They killed the entire game with 2.0 completely. As of now i would not recommend to buy this game on sale or even for free.

Edit: After playing season 4 now for a bit and seeing what changes they made after launching 2.0 i'd give this one a neutral review. It feels good to play again after the improvements they made to the controls.
The kinda in your face microtransactions are still a huge negative and how some devs act on socialmedia towards criticism. Selling extra Skil-Tree pages for 1€ and more inventory space for 5€? Just doesnt feel good seeing it in any game.

I just completely nolifed this game in 3 weeks till the endboss. if you love 2d side scroll adventure games that aren't that easy and got some creativity this game is for definitely for you + some good buddys!
