I wanted to play this game when it first released but I had no friends and I didn't think the ghosts would be my friends. Another time went by and I got friends and now the ghosts are also my friends unless that ghost is a Moroi, a Mimic, or a Hantu. They are not my friends and will be written into my burn book that was once the ghost writing book.

The experience starts simple enough, go into a house, try to get pieces of evidence to identify a ghost, get out, make some money, and repeat.

As you unlock more items and get bigger locations, and start to learn about how each ghost has it's own traits, on top of adding harder difficulties to make more moolah, the game just grows more and more in fun.

I'm excited to abandon the friends I wanted to play this game with to soon give Nightmare Solo a run in the near future.

I love this game. Went in for spooks, and now i'm here trying to because a master ghost identifier.

Take the premise of Animal Crossing New Horizons and Stardew Valley and mash them together and slap an Australian accent on this 10/10 game. Very fun with friends. Unique worlds. Characters are very cute. Progression flows very well day to day. The biomes, quests, cosmetic items, are all great. Barely have scratched the surface (I want a motorcycle) of this game, can't wait to spend over a hundred hours in it over time.

My only complaint (as of December 2022) is that you need to play two in-game days on your own island to get a few recipes (nails, crate, furnace) if you join your friends' worlds before earning these yourself you won't be able to craft them on their worlds.

The game is very fun if you have a friend, I imagine playing alone would be really boring.
The game definitely doesn't feel like a souls game, but the magic spells are really cool. I wish there were more of them, spells are awesome.
The character creator is REALLY GOOD so many sliders, you can never have too many sliders.
The lock-on friendly fire is a poor game mechanic, but simultaneously it's funny to accidentally and totally not purposefully and repeatedly kill your buddies.
The game is very short, but for three dollars it doesn't feel like a waste. You can have a fun little adventure with your friends, and once you beat the final boss you can run the game again but now with higher level loot and enemies. So you can play to get %100 achievements if you are into achievement hunting.

tldr: Elden Ring? We have Elden Ring at home.

Waited the 4 or 5 years since it's announcement for this game. The game was not what I hoped for it to be in my head but it was still a positive experience.
If you love the Digimon series you'll probably enjoy this game.
If you are a lover of visual novels, you'll probably enjoy this game.
If you don't like visual novels, this game won't be for you.
Overall enjoyable plot, dialogue goes in circles too often though. The battles are fun. Not knowing what your Agumon will become is fun. The cheesy jokes and sayings are enjoyable and the story was captivating.
The cutscenes and dramatic shots that take place are very well done, wish there were more of them. The interjected cutscenes mid-battle with characters talking with their digimon are not so well done - especially when they frequently happen.

Took me 40 hours to get through the game but I did take my time and do a lot of exploring. Multiple endings for the first playthrough and it seems there may be more in a second playthrough which i'll probably progress through every now and then.

TLDR: Digimon fans and Visual Novel lovers will buy and enjoy :)

Number one victory royale, just sucked off an entire town.

The movement in the game is fun. The different classes and abilities are cool, would like to see some added or some of the Q abilities be more diverse. The map is good, curious to see if they either add new maps or change the current one. The overall atmosphere is good, the gameplay is good. I have only played partied up with friends but imagine this would be a good solo queue battle royale as well.

I think the game would be way cooler if guns were a rarity and it focused on abilities and melee, but that is just me. My main complaint with the game is that the penalty for killing civilians is too high. I think at the most 45 seconds but I think 30 would be reasonable.

If you are looking to play this game, then you have likely already invested plenty of time into the Borderlands franchise. Which then I just have to tell you that this is a fantastic story driven game in the Borderlands world that bridges the gap a bit between Borderlands 2 and 3. It doesn't play like a Borderlands game at all since it isn't a shooter BUT it very much FEELS like a Borderlands game. Which I find very impressive. Play it. Have some laughs. Feel some emotions. You won't be disappointed. I've played like 90% of Telltale Games titles and this is my personal favorite despite myself being a gigantnic The Walking Dead fan. This was their best game.

Bought this game years ago when it first came out. I am here 330 hours later writing my first review. I cannot reccomend this game enough. If you like sandboxes, crafting, RPG elements, cute pixel art style, and games that provide hundreds of hours of replayable content. Then buy Terraria. This is my most played game on Steam and probably up in my top 3 played games of all time. I can never get bored of Terraria. I play solo often, but this is a great multiplayer game to play with a few friends, and hardcore mode is a serious challenge that I progressively improve at after the loss of many characters.

Also it has adorable bunnies and slimes and on halloween they dress up as each other.
