Short and sweet

Not amazing but still a really fun time

Here's my review of the witcher 3 wild hunt

Pros

The story is basic but the characters makes it awesome.

The combat is more simpel than the other games but it's still fun hunting monsters and killing humans.

The music is awesome of course.

The side quests all nearly feel like smaller main quests and can make you laugh, get angry and even tear up a bit in some
moments, they have real consequences with different outcomes just like the main story.

The monsters are all fun to fight and especially the ones in the witcher contracts.

The game also gives you free dlc and two expansion packs that are bothe a steal for there prices. it took me about 45+ hours to complete both of them. Hearts of stone is more about telling an amazing story, then we have blood and wine which is almost like a mini witcher 4 and it's more about the gameplay.

We can of course not forget gwent which is amazing and if you don't know what it is it's a carde game in the witcher 3 which is quiet advanced and it's realy fun to collect all the cards even though you're deck gets kind of overpowerd in the end.

I also love that the enemies levels are not scaled to you're level which makes the game fell more organic.

Another great thing about the game is simply the main character Geralt and how you have to rolleplay as him but can still make different choices that all feel like something geralt would say.

I love the grey moral choices that the game makes you chose between and how there's no meter showing you what a good/bad guy you are but just you're own moral compas.

I also love the romance between triss and yennefer and how there both compelling characters.

Cons

Even though the game is amazing all games have flaws.

One of theme is that the controlls indors are kind of clumsy and you will bump into objects.

One other thing is that the game is not as funn on the lower difficulty levels beacuse on the higher ones you realy have to preper for battles by for exampel having to apply different oils to you're swords and this realy makes you fell like a real witcher.

I also recomend you strongly to turn off the minimap to truly get immersed in the world and dont just folow a doted line. The game does give you directions to follow so that you don't get lost.

Thats all the cons i can come up with this game is just amazing and that's why my final verdict is.
