So the very first thing you should notice about this review is my time played. At the time I am writing this it is currently sitting at 54 minutes. How can you write a review with only 54 minutes of play time you ask? Great question. Really I'd be asking it too. The game is unplayable for me. I cannot get past the first chapter because of a bug that drops the frame rate to about 8 seconds per frame (no that's not a typo). I say bug because regardless of graphical settings this happens. On the positive side, the game is beautiful and the audio is excellent. Unfortunately the buck stops about 5 minutes in for me. At this point I cannot recommend this game. I will update this review hopefully within the next few days and change my thumbs down to a thumbs up. But right now stay away until they patch these issues.

UPDATE: I attempted all of the trouble shooting steps on their tech support post. This did not help. II ran intot he same problem in the same hall on the first chapter. First hallway on the right on the upper deck once you exit the torpedo. My thumbs down remains.

UPDATE 2: So browsing the forums on the actual website the devs have posted a work around for the problems I faced in the first chapter. This bug is audio related and will be addressed in the first patch, according to the devs. Unfortunately you must disable all audio devices and beat the first chapter essentially deaf. Once you do, however, you can reactivate all audio devices and play. So I am switching my recommendation from a thumbs down to a thumbs up. Thanks to the devs for communicating with the community. Something that is unfortunately lacking these days from devs big and small.

This game wasn't nearly as bad as people said it was. The game isn't as optimized as it could be, but it is fun eventhough its formula is not original by any means. Gun play is solid enough with mouse and keyboard but steer clear of using a controller as this is where it gets clunky. Overall I enjoyed the experience. By no means is it the best game in the world but given its rough development, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was as good as it was. I would only recommend buying this on sale.

Wow this game is loads of fun. Building has it's difficulties but finding things and just watching the animations for the pre-built structures in the game is super fun. My 3 year old and I really enjoyed playing this together!

Awesome game! Lots of fun! Beats the hell out of MineCraft. At least in SE you can do ♥♥♥♥ with your creations. Still in alpha and feels like it's in gold.

This game is very unforgiving. There is a super high learing curve and almost zero chance for a newbie to take out a geared out character. Furthermore, if you run into the nether in any sort of bulk and they tend to attract each other, you're completely done. They are infinitly stronger than you. Finding weapons is impossible. I've found a few weapon parts here and there and crafted a hand gun and a shotgun which I promptly lost as the nether warding device failed in the safezone and before the warning message popped up on my screen I had been killed by another player. On the positive side there are some interesting concepts here and I do see great potential but for now I think i'll be uninstalling this game and wait until it's actually finished.
