I have loved this game.

Let me get the elephant in the room addressed first: yes, there are bugs. I seemed to encounter issues at something like once every few hours, and every one I encountered could be handled by saving and reloading.

Despite that, this is one of the most fun gaming experiences I have had in a long time.

The story is well written, main and sidequests flesh out the stories of people, places and Night City itself. The world a gemstone of world-building and the characters are all enjoyable. Heck, my biggest complaint is that I wish I'd had more interactions with them, more ways to speak and talk and interact with the different NPCs that you meet and interact with along the way.

Having just completed my first playthrough as a Stealth Hacker (leaning towards non-lethal where possible), I can say that the core gameplay was fun and rewarding, without lacking in difficulty. I got the distinct impression that levels and encounters were designed to fit so many different options and approaches that I found myself often rewarded for creative or sneaky strategies, if I didn't want to go in via the front door.

The quickhacking system is effectively a high-tech magic system and by the final fights, I felt like an outright sorceror. The balance of power against use of resources works well; no hacks feel prohibitive in cost or cooldown. Even with a build centred around lowering the cooldowns and having as much RAM as I could find, I wasn't so powerful (on Normal) to stand in the open and fire off spells without concern for my safety, but I still felt exceptionally powerful.

How I will find a Melee build or a gun build, I don't know if I'll have as much fun, but we can cross that bridge when we get to it.

If open world, story-filled, first-person RPGs are your kind of game, I think you should give this game a shot. For me, I went into this hoping for a marriage of Deus Ex and Watch Dogs, and this soared through my expectations.

World of Goo manages to give an adorably silly setup, with fairly a intuitive setup while still giving you a challenge - and yes, you will find yourself trying to figure out how to do the best you can on each level once (or even before) you have completed it.

Well worth getting, in my opinion.
