Mandatory EA launcher. Game is in an ok state now but it feels kinda off since it was originally built as a class based battleroyale for the monetization. Theres a lot of visual elements missing from the previous titles, and overall the 128 player maps do not feel as clean as previous titles that were desiged for more focus.

Considering there is no more content coming.... I would say its worth 30 bucks. Def not full price and its nuts the price is still 60 plus.

Honestly you do not need to link the game to PSN. Yes for multiplayer, but nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ about that in this game. Its fine to include that as a warning, but leaving a negative review because of that does not give a good indication of how the game actually plays (which is why we look at review). Everyone is throwing around mock indignation that nearly half the countries cant use PSN. Nearly a quarter of people dont have access to clean water. I don't think PSN access or a $60 game is what they are worried about. But I digress.

As someone who is not a grown manchild and simply clicked "no" on the PSN account creation. The game is awesome. Graphics are beautiful, it runs smoothly, and so much effort put into creating a cinematic vibe. Solid voice acting. Its like if the new assasins creed games were actually good. I love it. Highly reccommend.

With rtx 3080 getting 75ish fps with all settings maxed and DLSS on. Really smooth, no stutters. No bugs whatsoever in the few hours I played. Fun

Really fun game with sadly fairly lazy devs. Overall I would say its worth buying though and can be fun with a group or fun solo if you play killer. A unique design that other games have tried to emulate. Lightning in a bottle sort of thing as you can tell the devs struggle to wrangle their own engine and their other game was a bit of a disaster in design. Most of the new releases are uninspired and new killers often feel samey and lazy, but theres surely enough solid ones in the roster to warrant the 20-40$ entry fee whatever it is at the time.

Its great, get it. Awesome with friends but good fun solo too as matchmaking works well. Good value and DLCs are a bit expensive but not required and add some cool weapons and such. Lot of rolling out free content as well.

I am super happy with how they updated the OG game to 2.0. It feels a lot more polished, lifelike, and vibrant. That said, something that cant be fixed is the previous games quest and RPG design. A lot of the side quests were forgettable or repetitive, and the main campaign had its moments but was a very much on rails action experience with little instances of choice.

Phantom Liberty addresses those issues head on in all of the added content. The campaign is great and varied, with different interesting characters and a lot of characters. The side gigs added for the PL expac are well written, fun, and offer a lot of RPG moments to show your characters personality and make choices. The campaign also has many impactful choices with different endings, though I wish there were more of these choices throughout the campaign instead of right at the end.

Overall I give it a 9/10 on its own, but an easy 10/10 for the price. Amazing value for 30 bucks really.

To preface: I am obsessed with scifi. Interstellar is my favorite movies and shares a lot of aesthetic and vibe with this game. I was beyond stoked. Now, I am no longer excited for TES 6, because how can we trust a studio that took 8 years to make this garbage, and also gave us fallout 76.

I realized after about 30 hours that I made a mistake. Everyone's already gone on about the weird gameplay systems, boring planets, awful load screens. But honestly I could have overlooked that if it was a solid RPG.

It is not a solid RPG. Enemy AI is terrrrrible. Like atrocious and makes each encounter stupid easy. Outside of this, narratively, all AI are stupid, naive, and abominably written. Quests and your relationships with others feel rushed. I remember one gang took me in and trusted me with their deepest level of security after I completed one fetch quest for them.

The game is aggressively PG13, and the whole thing feels like it was designed by suits in a boardroom. There is no risk, no creative unique planets, no despicable characters or dark situations.... Everything just feels the same, and with the ♥♥♥♥ combat and load screen issues immersion is a fleeting experience, and rather impossible 30 hours in once you realize how ♥♥♥♥ this whole package is.

While I wish you had a bit more control over your deck (card removal is expensive and there is some RNG there), this is one of the most unique and enjoyable roguelite deckbuilders I have played in some time. Tried it out today on a lark and boom 10 hours gone. Def recommend to anyone who is a fan of either genre.

Performance is big stinky. I cannot stress enough how poorly optimized this game is. Game may be great, but its not acceptable how bad this runs. Wait for sale

I put in for a refund. I saw this game on store and was pleasantly surprised... I have not been following closely but I loved the other ones.

This just feels lazy. UI is atrocious. Animations and visuals feel super dated and identical to the one from decade ago. Sound feels flat. It just doesn't feel good enough to warrant a 60 dollar price tag. Wait for deep sale, that's what I am doing.

Slay the spire but more intricate and pretty to look at. I bought this on a lark and very quickly had a couple of marathon sessions. Strongly recommend to anyone who is a fan of card games OR roguelikes. My only gripe is that the runs are a bit short and the DLC a bit expensive.
