*edit* I changed my review to positive. Game is fun, but I really hate the questing system and want more variety of monsters. However, the combat is amazing. Mage started off super boring, and that was my starting class. But once I realized I was supposed to learn quick cast and use it all the time, fighting got a lot more fun and strategic, as I felt more impactful. For the first 10 hours of the game I was slowly watching my spells cast and it was very boring.

I think this game got greatly overhyped on the coat tails of Dragon's Dogma 1. It doesn't seem to meet today's standards for such a large production.

FPS drops, janky controls, lazy passive dialogue between characters (I've only played 5 hours and I've heard party members repeat the same lines like two dozen times, and i cant get them to stop).

I may edit my review later when I put more hours into this, but so far I'm not very impressed.

No chat system in this game makes it F*cking unbearable to play. You can't communicate effectively with your team, you have to use their awful ping system. It's infuriating to not be able to talk to your team mates. quit being lazy devs and let people chat, yes there is flaming, get over it.

Not bad. Not great. I've played a lot of this genre before. Maybe I would enjoy it more with friends, but I played it solo for a few hours. In that time I got to the third armor tier, which is stone armor.

The game's design for weapons needs some work. I got a praying Mantis scythe, and the moveset is extremely over the top (like korean MMO anime style, where the character defies gravity to do mid-air back spin slashes.) Yes, it's cool, but it feels way out of place for this game, especially when the starter club is so basic in comparison.

There is a very basic stats system (dex increases speed, strength increases dmg, etc.) that seems to have no correlation to what gear you can use. I think this style is outdated and not intricate enough. The graphics are great and there's lots of content, but the core gameplay needs some polishing and updating, that's all I'm saying.
