There are several reasons as to why I'm playing this game so much since it came out.
A rouge-like with a lot of effort put into it with so many possible combinations and specifically synergies which make every run unique.
It's hard but every single accomplishment is rewared and even if something unlocks an achievement without unlocking a new item you still feel good about yourself.
It is not recommended to use the DLCs when you are just starting to play the game.
The game is hard enough already without them but as soon as you are confident of your skills you should try those.
They give you much more content to play with but the game also gets even harder.
It's my most played game on steam and I don't regret a minute of it!
