I played a lot of DD2 and loved it. I know the DD1 community is bigger but I for one could never get into the game because the graphics were terrible. This is where Dungeon Defenders: Awakened comes in as a perfect game. DDA has the charm and simplicity of DD1 and the graphical overhaul similar to DD2 but this game is much smoother to play than DD2 and isn't an eyesore like DD1. Sure it has some bugs right now but early acces come with a territory. I myself have been a victim of the player save wipe and it sucked, but I got most of my progress back within an hour or 2 because I had learned how to play the game. As of writing this review the dev team has posted a patch that should resolve the wipe bug. I highly recommend you try this game if you've ever played any of the Dungeon Defender games and actually liked it. Also if you have played tower defense games and like them you will get a kick out of this game. It's so much fun once you really understand how to play and give it a good go! This game has so much potential and will go places - including having cross saves on the switch later this year! I can't wait for that feature to be honest. Any way give it a go! IT'S A BLAST!
