The first time I tried Caves of Qud, I bounced off of it. There were so many systems and sub-systems that I felt overwhelmed. I retried it though because my friends were so enthusiastic. The recent 1.0 update made so many huge UI and controller improvements! There was still a learning curve to getting started but the tutorial helped a ton. I played several hours consecutively and didn't even realize it had been one. When I slept, I kept hearing the sound of wind blowing salt dunes, the drip of slime, and the barks of snapjaws. The game is amazing. I literally can't stop thinking about it.

Pretty fun. It's a twitchy 3D platform/speed running challenge.
