It's a short game, but a nice, atmospheric one at that. The only interaction with people you have is through your intercom with another fire lookout. You won't talk to people face-to-face, nor will you see a lot of animals. This game isn't much, yet it is exactly enough.

EDIT: Seems to work properly now, so now I do recommend the game. Do think about the fact this could happen though.


I'll start by saying that, in theory, this game looks like a decent game.

For the time I've played it, what I saw is that this game is all about the story, which is what I was hoping for. However, they screwed one big part up: the live-action show. They decided it would be a good idea to stream the episodes instead of downloading them to your pc, as they apparently are like 75GB of storage. In theory, a good idea.

Except it really isn't in this case.

Their streaming service is horrific; it stopped every 15 seconds or so to buffer for about 20 seconds. Initially I thought it might be my internet, so I checked, and I had a stable connection of 200 Mbps download speed.

As you probably can imagine, this completely breaks the experience in a story-driven game like this one. A simple fix for this would have been to allow users to download the episodes like XBOX One users can.

Now to end with some positivity, this really isn't a bad game, and you might be lucky by not experiencing any of the streaming problems I was suffering from (a friend of mine seems to have no problems). The gameplay itself felt very smooth and convincing, and what I was able to watch from the live-action show, felt like they chose their cast very carefully as they play it very well. But I just can't recommend a game where half of it consists out of something that just completely breaks the flow.

This game is about absolutely nothing and everything at the same time, one big wild ride.
