Nearly perfection.

There is only one thing that is not perfect:
As an explorer (the world design is flawless, you just want to check every little corner of the map) you outlevel the game - content may get to easy in midgame.

Other than that: 99.9/100.

Until the netcode is fixed this game is a hard thumbs down - sadly, because I really like this game.

As it is right now roughly every game I have a shot not registering/missing even on standing players.

TL:DR: Check the hours played of all the negative reviews - if such players change their review to negative run for your life and don't try this game.

I have to change my positive review ... sadly.

The recent decisions and the current direction the game is taking makes this decision necessary. The game gets pushed more and more into a RNG lottery system - only way to get more lottery tickets is by spending more time in the game while not really progressing (most people don't play standard but the current league - so you have to start over every three months). The only way to play this game right now is to spend most part of your day ingame grinding maps and going for that lottery called Archnemisis (most league mechanics were nerfed to death - so it's nearly your only choice).

Can recommend this game.

There a still a few things that have be optimized, but it doesn't really matter that much in the big picture.

Weapon handling, atmosphere and gameplay are top. With the current sale buying this game is a no brainer.

Early Access Review
Bought Noita after seeing an ingame video online.

Noita is as hard and unfair as it can get (sometimes), but the unique experience makes up for it. Physical interactions with the world and setting up your wand are motivating and fun. Even this early I can fully recommend the game!

Sadly I have to change my review for Rocket League from positive to negative due to the recent blueprint patch. The blueprint update not only makes microtransacton in the game more expansive, but also is close to fraudulent behaviour.

Just to clarify:
- In the old key system you got crates after every few games which you could open for roughly 1€ (in EU) with a key you could purchase. The downside was the gambling system. You didn't know which item you would get (each crate had a specific item pool which you could view before opening).
- This means you could potentially get every item in the game for 1€. Because of this fairly low price a great trading community existed and you could trade most items for a few keys (let's just say 4-6€ were enough for most items).
- There was a chance to get free encryptors (=keys) in certain events.

Now to the changes:
- You get blueprints instead of crates after every few games. Every blueprint shows you exactly which item you get before paying for it. This is the upside.
- Keys don't exist anymore. Instead there are credits. 100credits roughly amount to 1 key. (1€)
- The downside: There are now items which cost about 18€! That means items which you had the chance to get for 1€ are now worth 1800% more. I mean if it was a stock I owned, I would be reallly thrilled. But sadly these are costs to the player base.
- This will ruin the whole trading system. Rocket League is probably the game I spent my most money on. You could invest a few Euros every month and got really nice and cool items. I will not spend one more Cent due to the high costs in the new blueprint system..

Now back to my statemanet that this update is close to fraudulent behaviour:
- Weeks before the Update there were ingame info boxes which stated that your keys will not be unvailable and and you could use them after the update (there were transformed to credits).
- Let's do a short calculation: I spent 1€ und 1 Key. I could potentially get every item in the game. Let's say I got the item that now costs 18€ in Credits. Then my key would have a trade value of these 18€. Now I have to spend 18€ to get this one item. Which means my key is worth way less now (1€ / 18 = 5.5 Cent).
- Of course you can't really compare these numbers because of the change from a gambling system to a system to which you actually know which item you will get. But considering that there was a great trading community I would say that your keys (which you paid fo before the update) lost a huge amount of it's value after the update.
- Ubisoft and Psyonix had to be aware of this fact when introducing the update. I can't support any company that treats the player and the money they spent on their product in such a way.

Therefore I have to strongly advice not to buy Rocket League in the current state of the game and blueprint system.

The first two major updates were already great delivering huge features like base building, vehicles and freighters. Update 1.3 overhauls many parts of the game to its first birthday. I'm not going to list the features here, if you are interested you can google it.

The new patch proves that Hello Games really sticks to the game and puts in hard work to create a great game. They didn't run away with the money like many people said or abandoned the game. I think you should give them credit for it.

The release was awful, so was the communication the first few months. But this changed and they even admitted that they were focusing too much on internal things.

With the changes to the game and communication I think it is safe to finally recommend the game. If you like space games and/or exploration or just like games in which you can build a nice base and which allows you to mod some features, this game is definitely for you.
