Some games you play once and forget. Dragon Age: Inquisition wasn’t like that for me. It wasn’t just a game, it was an experience that grabbed me emotionally and completely pulled me into its world. To this day, it’s my absolute favorite. You start out as a nobody, suddenly marked by a strange power after a catastrophic explosion and before you know it, you're leading a movement to restore order in a world that’s falling apart. Sure, the story is epic, full of politics, war and religion, but what makes it truly special is how personal it feels.

The world of Thedas feels alive. Each region has its own culture, problems and stories to uncover. I spent hours just exploring, getting lost in ruins, listening to my companions’ banter, soaking up the atmosphere. The music, the lore, the voice acting; it all comes together in a way that’s rich and immersive.

But what really stayed with me were the companions. They’re not just sidekicks, they’re full-fledged characters with hopes, flaws, regrets and dreams. I laughed with them, argued with them, stood by them and sometimes fell in love with them. The writing is emotional, sharp, often funny or heartbreaking. And the romances – especially the Solas romance – felt respectful and real. I actually felt seen. I cared about these people. Even after finishing the game, I kept thinking about their stories.

Another thing I love: your choices matter. The game constantly pushes you to think about what kind of leader you want to be. There’s rarely a clear right or wrong, just tough decisions with real consequences. That made every playthrough feel different and meaningful.

Of course, it has all the RPG stuff like combat, skill trees, loot, crafting, but that’s not what made me keep playing. What kept me hooked was the story, the characters, the emotions and the feeling that I was shaping something bigger than myself. I loved every single minute. And I already know I’ll play it again and again.

For me, this game is a solid 5/5. If you love fantasy, rich characters and meaningful choices. You need to play this.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – A Wild, Emotional, Unforgettable Journey

I went into Baldur’s Gate 3 expecting a fun RPG. What I got was one of the most immersive, emotionally intense and genuinely alive games I’ve ever played. It’s chaotic, heartbreaking, hilarious, full of surprises and it somehow made me care deeply about every little decision I made.

You wake up with a parasite in your brain, unsure who to trust, with the threat of becoming a mind flayer looming over you. And yet, what starts as a desperate fight for survival turns into something much bigger and a story about identity, power, friendship, and choice. And damn, it goes hard on all of it.

What blew me away most was how reactive the world is. Everything you say, every choice you make, every character you bring along; it all matters. And not in a shallow, checkbox way. The game remembers. It reacts. Sometimes in hilarious ways, sometimes in brutal ones. You never quite know what's going to happen and that's part of the magic. The companions? Unforgettable. These aren’t background characters, they’re messes, legends, disasters and darlings, each with their own story and emotional arc. I fell in love with some of them. I distrusted others. I watched them grow, break, heal. And the romance writing? Raw, sincere, sometimes messy but so, so human. Whether it was a quiet conversation by the campfire or a heated, awkward confession, I felt it all.

There were moments that made me laugh out loud. Others that hit like a punch to the gut. And plenty that left me just staring at the screen, wondering what the hell I’d just done or what I should do next. This game doesn’t hold your hand. It dares you to screw up, to own your choices, to roleplay in a way that feels completely yours. The writing is phenomenal. The voice acting? Top-tier. The music, the visuals, the sheer freedom and it all comes together in a way that makes this world feel real, chaotic, and sacred all at once. And the fact that it’s based on D&D rules makes it feel like anything really can happen and often does.

I finished the game and felt… changed. Like I’d lived something. Like the characters were still with me, somewhere just off-screen. If you love narrative RPGs, emotional storytelling, deep character work and absolute chaos in the best possible way – Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t just a game. It’s an experience.
