Absolutely worth every penny.
Buggy? Yes, but its a Total War title. But on that same coin, it is the least buggy Total War game launch that I have ever seen.
Fun? Absofreakinloutley. Lu Bu holding a flank by himself with 240 Spearmen. He killed 2200 of them, spearmen killed 500. I think that sounds about right.
Music? Excellent! Still not as good as the original Rome Total War. But great in its own right.
Memorable? Surprisingly yes, you get attached to all your characters as they level up and I found more time being spent with them customizing them than in the battles.
Battles? Weakest part of this whole game in my opinion. Compared to prior installments it.... it just feels like its missing variety. Everyone gets the same kind of units except the Yellow Turbans which, they are broken. Their Generals.... I cleared a garrison and the Generals defending it with just the 3 generals. 10/10 Would kill 3000 people again with only 3 guys.

Rome Total War 2. Is it a good game? Yes, yes it is. I've been a fan of the Total War series since Medieval Total war came out and its wonderful to see how far the games have come (please work on the AI). The gameplay is better, the graphics are night and day different, the diplomacy is not as broken and useless. The battles are bigger and better than ever.
However, we arent upset with Creative Assembly because women are in the game, they were in the game since March and if the reviews are anything to go off of, we were fine with it then. We became upset when CA community manager Ella attacked your customers and consumers. The game is fine, its good, its playable. While female generals from my recollection in history were here and there (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_ancient_warfare). So to be frank, yes women in ancient warfare is historically accurate. But the issue is when a business executes poor customer service, to its paying customers that is when the paying customers take issue; and thats with ANY business.

With that being said, should you buy this game? On sale sure. Is it worth your time? I've sunk over 175 hours in it so yes I'd say so.

Would it be nice to get an appology from CA? Absolutely. Defending your actions is fine if you use historical facts and logic to back up the decisions you have made for your game. Finding that wiki article on ancient women in combat took all of 5 seconds. But to flat out tell your customers 'mod it out or dont play'. That is unacceptable customer service. Be apart of the solution by having an actual dialogue with your points and be respectful to the other person, instead of flat out insulting them. Don't abuse your power and position just because you have it to shut down something you disagree with; dialogue solves problems before they start and blow up resulting in damaged customer relations, and possible decline in future sales.

A great game. It has some bugs which I'm running into now at roughly 12 hours in. But nothing game breaking, immersion breaking yes. My mechs load in as pink blobs and no textures on them. Oh and the loading time needs to seriously be worked on. As well as just smoothing out the frame rates and stuttering that occurs. But game play is solid, the story thus far is great, the crew you get attatched to, my poor blackjack is on its like 8th right arm now... It would give a leg to stop that from happening again. Anyway once the minor bugs get fixed after day one release it will be an excellent game that you must have if you love strategy with rpg, xcom elements. Oh and if you ever encounter something with just 8 SRMS and 5 LRMs or something just nuke that sucker into the ground.

Great game overall, a few glitches here and there that I ran into. But nothing game breaking.

Overall: 90/100
I feel the story was a bit rushed later in the game. But dont get me wrong, it was 100% enjoyable running around blowing everyone up :D.
The Jackdaw was my baby from beginning of the game til the end. Only at the last few sequences (9 I think) did I finally upgrade my sabers and pistols.
Naval Combat was tons of fun, but at a certain point you just become a monster in sea battles, taking on 2 or even 3 Man-O-Wars at once and being fine (and some times a few of their escorts).

Open world is better than previous Creed games, mechanics are the same, some a bit better, but this was my first time playing the series on PC so the controls needed getting used to (press E to counter! *dead* wrong key *doh!*) .
Going to play Multiplayer soon, yes i played single player for 40 hours before even getting to multiplayer thats how much i enjoyed this game.

Drink up me hearties yo ho!
