Without a doubt my favorite game of all time as of writing this.
A gameplay loop that is satisfying and yet grueling at times, really pushing your knowledge of the game to its absolute limit at times. The game has lows, as do most, but the pros outweigh them ten times over in my eyes. The story is hopelessly easy to get absolutely stuck to, as I felt myself growing ridiculously attached to seeing the main character's growth and changes throughout the story. I love every aspect of the world building and how it all contributes to the main story as well, nothing truly feels out of place in this. All of this is only enunciated on further with the incredible art direction of the game as well, each CG being beautiful and in other scenarios, perfectly expressing emotions that text can not convey. Don't even get me started on the music either, between Studio EIM's incredible atmospheric themes for each floor and Mili's incredible character themes, each portion of the game has an incredible sound that makes every part feel like a breath of fresh air.
Completely wonderful experience from start to finish. 10/10.
