God, I loved this. A poignant story and complex characters, plus what is probably the best trans representation I've ever seen in a video game, and possibly across all media. Highly recommend

Pretty solid as a story. It's very linear, so if you're looking for a "choose your own adventure" type game, just know that there seems to only be one pathway here. Still a worthwhile endeavor. It felt like a grown-up version of Humongous Entertainment (Spy Fox, Pajama Sam, Putt-putt, etc.). Would recommend

I really wish Steam had a neutral option because I'd give this game a solid 3/5. Possible spoiler ahead maybe?

Pros: The atmosphere is wonderful. The art style and music are easily the best part of the game. I think as a concept it's a really cool game. I enjoyed most of my experience with it

Cons: The biggest con is the lack of payoff. For a game that revels in the virtues of patience and endurance, the ending (at least the one I ended up with-- the one at the well) was surprisingly abrupt. I was LOVING the game until I was left with a feeling of "Oh... that's it?"

If you're a fan of the board game, this is a great buy. I think it might be confusing to anyone who hasn't played the physical version, though. The tutorial does a decent job walking you through it but it's still a little overwhelming at first
