Amazing game and absolutely worth playing when it's done, but wait for patches. I'm constantly trying to work around quest bugs, shader compile hangs/fails/relaunch, and memory leaks that cause the game to crash constantly in Rostok.

2/5/25 Edit: Still lots of bugs in later game quests. Going to put the game down for a while so I don't get angry with it.

Best game ever (seriously).

Excellent graphics and visuals, cool story, top-notch voice acting. DMZ is the fun part. Otherwise: crashy, too many boring stealth missions, TERRIBLE menu system, way overpriced.

The sprint button only works 1/2 of the time because Xbox is only 1/2 a PC

Jump puzzles are lazy and boring. Aesthetic is bright and cartoonish, not dark and evil like all previous Doom games. Maps are on rails that funnel you into circular pits where multiple waves of baddies spawn. Juke, sprint, jump, shoot, melee for ammo -- the last being the most important. Rinse and repeat, but this time with smaller, less interesting maps because consoles will choke. Multiplayer is cool, but what's Doom with weak single player?

There's nothing else like it.
