This is definitely the successor of Unity of Command and expands on the first one very very well. It's frustrating in a good way; you have to earn your victories. It's also approachable and has introduced a number of new mechanics and structures that add complexity without over-complicating your choices. I'm looking forward to the expansions, they'll definitely be very enjoyable.

Overall, a pleasant top-down dungeon crawler. Got it to play couch coop and have wound up playing a fair bit of singleplayer when testing it out before going over to my friend's place.

Faster paced than KF1, but really solid. The games are much more intense than they were in KF1; there is less time to sit back from the action. I have to say that it's a really good job of making a sequel and I'm looking forward to spending a lot more time with KF2.
