The product was made in a hurry, You're obliged to do first all the story missions and then you get the free roaming mode in New York.
The story mode isn't funny at all, some serious bugs here and there, and the idea to use the original voice tracks from the movies make the story too much serious and lose all the silliness from the previous games.
Once you've finished that, you have the free roaming in new york BUT you don't have any idea how to play the addictional levels you paid for!!! after a while you understand that you have to PAUSE the game and select the "Go to Space" options. Here you have a really really boring world map where you can play the addictional levels or replay the story levels to unlock certain characters.
I have the Season Pass and the characters selected are less than exciting, PLUS you have to pay 1.99 to unlock the Civil War characters.... and they are just reskin of previous characters with no story level at all.
You can easily see that WB and TT did a quick development, and placed the game unfinished.
