It was definitely off to a rough start, but in 2023 with all the updates, new content and new stuff that keeps coming out, it's a must have if you like sci fi or survival / exploration games.

I bought this because it claimed to be WMR compatible. It is not. A large number of us, based on the forum cannot launch the game. It crashes immediately after the UE4 logo at start OR launches, but without any menu to start the game. Unfortunately, I can't get a refund because I waited too long for a response on the support forum and it was no longer eligible for a refund. I am still waiting for a response weeks later, as are others.

Apparently it works well with occulus. But simply does not work on WMR, and by the developers post responses to others in the past, it sounds like they didn't have a WMR headset to test it, so they should never, ever have indicated it was WMR compatible.

So if you have an occulus, it might be worth trying. If not, you are out of luck, and the developer doesn't appear keen on fixing the problems for WMR users.

So I have to give it a big old thumbs down. I was scammed. Would never have bought it if they were honest about WMR support.

This is sad. I was very much looking forward to playing this.

The big boss of the zombie games. There are few games I have played over and over in single player, this is one of them. Amazing game. If you are in the mood for some undead crushing pure adrenaline, this will scratch that particular itch.

Well, they have a great idea here, but the execution is terrible. The automated beat detection and downbeat marking is terrible with much of my collection, and there is no way to edit, adjust, or even slip a beat grid, and if your tunes change tempo ever, or have a human drummer... forget it.

Its best suited to 4/4 electronic music, and there it shines as a fun way to explore your record collection. The way that it automatically tries to slice up the tracks into "energy" sections and allows you to play sections is a brilliant idea, however it falls flat on its face in a live situation, as there are no keyboard shortcuts to fire these, and controller support is abysmal. You have to remap your controller ever time (simply will not save my mapping) and if you have more than one midi controller, its a nightmare. No channel selection.

Its key detection is pretty good, but not as good as MiK, their other product. Also moving libaries from a preparation computer to the one you are gonna have on the road is a PITA. You have to move not only the visible folder it makes in your collection, but hidden crap as well.

As a performance planning tool however, it is GREAT. Being able to visualize and test parts of a mix before doing it live, or just seeing interesting paths through your collection suggested by the energy and key of tracks is fantastic. Its also fun as hell if you don't mind having to click everything with a mouse, and have a good, firm well lit surface to work on.

I'd give it a 5/10 all round. Its simply not useful to me as a live DJ and is missing absolutely critical features to make it as a pro dj tool for playing live, and its library management kinda stinks. However, as a planning tool, an exploring tool, or for playing very pro sounding mixes at home for an amateur, its stellar and a lot of fun.

So its both good and bad depending on what you are expecting to do with it.

The developers are hot on implemeting a lot of features over the next couple of years, and the forums are ablaze with ideas which they seem very positive to explore. So, out of humble beginnings, I expect great things.

Its not quite there yet, but I expect it will be. They have some absolutely fantastic ideas here and are in pretty much uncharted waters for DJ applications, so its gonna take time to dial it in right.

If you're expecting to drop $60 and be a pro dj, um... you're gonna be disappointed. If you're instead looking for a new way to enjoy your tunes at home, and maybe play a house party or two, its a great buy.
