If you like baseball, you'll like this game. The singleplayer scenarios & standard games are top notch, and Perfect Team is very entertaining and well-balanced. The UI menus can take some getting used to, but once you get through a few games it is a breeze to navigate. Absolutely recommend.

I played a bit of GTA V on Xbox prior to switching to PC, and there's not much that makes me want to switch back. The game runs great, the story mode is solid, and the online isn't infested with nearly as many hackers as people claim. Plus, the amount of quality mods is incredible.

Definitely worth a purchase, especially if on sale.

H1Z1 was a fun game in the early preseasons, but its decline in popularity, the rise of other AAA Battle Royales, and sometimes questionable development timeline make it hard to recommend anymore.

I personally enjoy iRacing the most out of all of the major racing sims, but that probably stems from the fact that I'm primarily an oval track racer. However, the dirt racing, road, and rallycross experience are all pretty solid in their own right; dirt racing is near unmatched with the dynamic track conditions. Dynamic lighting and day-night transitions were recently added along with two new tracks to the plentiful amount of free content. Yes, there is still a rather high cost to start out in buying cars and tracks, but once you find a series you like the most, it becomes less of a cost and overall hassle.

I definitely recommend giving iRacing a try, and if you don't like it, you can always unsubscribe.

Pro Tip: If you do want to try iRacing, don't buy it through Steam. Create an account and pay for a membership using the codes in the sidebar of /r/iRacing. Then, once your account is created you can get a steam key that links the two together. As of now, you can get 3 months for $5, 3 months + content for ~$10, or a year for $49 (as of time of posting).

Fun with friends. You will rage unless you have some ungodly amount of patience. Easily got my money's worth, even though its F2P now.

A timeless treasure; TF2 is great with friends and solo. The variety of modes and community servers keep the gameplay fresh, while the recognizable 9 classes are all fun to play in their own ways. TF2 is a must-play for anyone, and will continue to hold that status until updates to the game stop.

Mini Metro is graphically minimalist but does not short in gameplay. It's a nice strategy game; it works your brain to figure out the most efficient way to get all passengers to their destination. What's also fantastic is the game can be unplayed for days and it can just be opened up to kill 30 minutes - it has great replayability.

I recommend it, especially if it goes on sale.

Rocket League seems simple: use a car to push or hit a ball into a goal. It is rather easy to jump into and learn the controls and mechanics. But just like real soccer (or any sport for that matter), mastering dribbling, passing, and goaltending takes time. One game played can turn into two, two into four, and before you know it, you've played two hours worth of games. It's a game that easy you can put 1000 hours into and not be bored of it.


One piece of advice: having a controller helps; you can get good with a mouse and keyboard, but a controller makes movement easier, from my experience.


10/10 worth every penny, a must-play for pretty much anyone.
