Played during the free weekend. Here's some thoughts about the game design.

Gunplay: Fine enough, but didn't blow me away. The agents are different enough that you feel the difference.

Performance: Absolutely horrendous for a game that doesn't visually amaze or stand out. Like, 40fps on an RTX3080 when people start shooting bad.

Gameplay: The concept is insanely shallow. There's no incentive to opening the vault and stealing the intel for yourself. Just camp up or shoot suspicious looking people. The games either end instantly or drag out forever because nobody cares to progress the objectives.

Multi-player: 3 or single queue ONLY. No private games. Did I mention it runs terribly? Try being competitive when you're trying to shoot someone who is vsync tearing and jumping all over the screen from poor performance.

If you like a competitive FPS, don't even think about skipping this game. If you like strategy games and you want to dip your toes into the FPS genre, try this game. If you like shooters but you want to actually think a little bit, more than something like COD, try this game. Overall a very unforgiving and rewarding game, with progression that makes sense. Pick it up when it's under 20 bucks and you won't be disappointed.

Super awesome mechanics, and feels really "heavy" due to the slow and unforgiving mechanics. Feels clunky, but in a good, satisfying way. With different classes allowing you to play with whatever playstyle you are more comfortable with, this game makes for a fun few afternoons.

Feels kinda empty right now, like there isn't much to do. Right now, can't recommend it. Although, it does have potential, as the implemented mechanics are very nice and polished.

Probably the best parkour game on the market, get this game while it's on sale. For 20$, I have a hard time recommending it, unless you have spare money laying around. The short story is made up for with nice mechanics, so if you love tight controls and the satisfying feel of landing jumps in a platformer, this game is a must when it goes on sale.

For someone looking for a realistic shooter, with unforgiving multiplayer mechanics, give this game a shot. With extensive community mod support, you can make this game an amazing, gritty shooter, or a game about shooting people with pink guns that makes sparkly sound effects. EIther way, the gameplay is amazing, and addicting for anyone who like FPS games.

I really don't like MOBAs. I have played roughly 10 hours of DOTA 2, and really, I can't get into it. I really prefer a good game of Counter-Strike over it. Awesomenauts, however, is very different. Being a 2D, simplistic MOBA, it is not to be put into the same genre as other MOBA's. While the concept is similar, the gameplay is very different. Due to the simplistic characters, and fast paced action with small maps, which still rewards strategy, it is really enjoyable for me compared to top down MOBAs.

Great for someone who loves strategy game, Civilization V is a recommended title for someone who loves hanging out with friends, and eventually, nuking the living crap out of them.

Amazing game, with an amazing story. The controls feel tight and responsive. Although I will admit the gunplay gets boring and is sometimes repetitive, it is worth dealing with in order to progress through the amazing story line with many references to popular literature and culture.
