Awesome game.

There haven't been any legitimate reviews that people can view to decide if they want to buy it or not, so, i'll try and make a decent one, and I have some credibility because i've played this game for over 140 hours.

For starters, the price can be a bit much for the state of the game. 10 dollars (maybe more, considering the plans for the game) would be a good price for the game once its finished. However, 10 dollars right now is a bit excessive.

Lets start with the good:
AI
Watching the soldiers fight is very fun, and is the more polished side of the game. The soldiers have relatively advanced AI, (albeit can be janky on rare occasions) that can do a variety of actions, including suppressing fire, lifting buddies out of battle, (very cool) throwing grenades, and using medkits on the injured. One of the most intriguing parts of the AI, other than the things just listed, is the squad lead and subordinate AI. When customizing your character, -will touch down on that later- you can make them a squad lead or a subordinate. Subordinates will form a group with the squad lead, with group sizes ranging from 3-5. Cool, right?!
VOICE ACTING
To add on, the voice lines the AI have are great! The voice actors have done a great job and the voice lines aren't cheesy, nor done by inexperienced voice actors, (most have many years of experience.)
CUSTOMIZATION
Next up, the customization. Yes, it WAS very janky and broken, but these recent updates have fixed these issues and if you were to get the game now, you wouldn't experience these bugs. The customization system is very in-depth with hundreds of different options-in total-for your character, (some sections are lacking though, e.g hairstyles) You can not only customize their looks, but also their skill level, how much of a threat they are, (how much they are targeted by enemies) and if they are a squad leader or not, as mentioned early.
GORE
Now, to cover yet another good of the game, lets cover the gore, one of the main selling points for the game. The gore in this game is pretty incredible! The blood textures are on point and wrap around objects realistically. Every character has in-depth insides, where you can see their lungs, organs, intestines, brains and more using the freecam. When a bullet hits them, it will penetrate through these objects accuractely, allowing you to inspect the damage on a dead soldier if you so please. Explosions and high caliber weapons can also blow off limbs, allowing them to bleed out. There is nothing bad about the gore that I can think of.
AIRSTRIKES
Speaking of explosions and high caliber, you can also call in airstrikes. By opening the command menu, you can call in a variety of airstrikes, which include tomahawk airstrikes, A10 warthog strikes, artillery and more. The tomahawks are the most interesting part of the airstrike system because in order to use them, you must spawn a ship in the ocean and you can see it fire missiles LIVE! You can also spawn tanks and helicopters, but those are bit janky, (at the time of writing this).
PERFORMANCE
The game can lag on occasion, but if you follow the spec listings shown on the store page and you dont go past 16v16 battles, (more than enough soldiers anyways) you should be fine.


THE UGLY OF THE GAME:

There is one ugly. Whilst it is usually corrected, sometimes theres issues can persist for a while. This really only happened while the dev was out in basic training (not enough time to develop non buggy updates) but this can still happen sometimes. On occasion, the dev will release sort of half baked updates. Yes, he does release the update with all of its content, but sometimes the content can be very buggy. The best example of this is when he had only 2 weeks to develop the WW2 update. He had to quick-release it, but when it was released, all of the gore in the game broke and it couldn't be fixed due to him being at basic training. Now, there are protocols in place to prevent this from happening again, so this shouldn't be a reason for you not to buy the game.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
This game is in alpha, and there are many things that still need to be added and much more that needs to be polished. However, the dev is very dedicated and this game has a lot of potential. If you want a game where you can just hop on, put a bunch of AI against each other and watch them duke it out to the death, then you should buy this game.
