Lot's of people try to build a narrative about DS 2 being bad. It's not.
Is it subpar when compared to 1 and 3? Unfortunately yes.
Does that mean you should skip it all together? No.
It's got great atmosphere , inspired areas , interesting NPCs and a FANTASTIC set of DLCs.

If you are a fan of Devil May Cry 4 or 5 you need to check out this oldschool collection ASAP.
1 is an atmospheric masterpiece with blatant Resident Evil Influnces.
2 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be skipped
3 is the GOAT

At 8 euros on sale it's an insta buy. It does fall short in some places but thankfully there is an astounding amount of addons available to enhance your experience. Once xplane 12 gets a bit more stable it's a no brainer upgrade.

It's kingdom hearts on PC need I say anything? I never thought the day would come.
As for crashes most people are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I had a single crash in a 20 hour playthrough thus far. Just save often as if you are back in the 2000s and you will be good.

Giving it a positive or negative review isn't really the correct thing to do as this game sits somewhere in the middle in my opinion.

If you want to get into yugioh for whatever reason ( nostalgia , curiosity etc. ) and you can't do so with the real paper cards , master duel is your most correct destination as master duel is the current , up to date yugioh made video game. ( minor differences between the online game and the paper game such as some cards being banned or what not. )

Now let me warn you that if you felt nostalgia about yugioh and you want to relieve your good old memories from childhood this is the wrong game to play. Let me repeat myself , if you want to play old yugioh like you remember it from the anime or the schoolyard matches please forget this game exists and play some of the gameboy or ds games instead.

Master duel is not 2005 yugioh. Master duel is 2024 yugioh. And in 2024 there is so much power creep and so many multi effect cards that create 15 minute long combos that in turn result to a very complex and often times frustrating gameplay.

Now unlike other online card game experiences like for example magic arena I find the f2p experience to be much more bearable. Master Duel actually has some proper solo/offline gameplay that is rather engaging and interesting. And all those campaigns/missions award you with plenty of gems to buy packs or premade decks. Some premade decks are competitive right out of the gate although obviously they will lose to the latest most broken brain rot deck.

And then at last , if you do care about the competitive ladder experience you can build an off meta deck without spending a dime on the game and push your way towards platinum rank. But at platinum you will hit a wall. A wall that without luck and without some money will not be overcome. That said , not everyone is made to push to masters. And if you are one of those guys that will never get there that's okay.

As I said , plenty of offline solo stuff as well as the possibility to duel friends. In which case the meta is irrelevant. And ranked ladder is absolutely fine as long as you are below plat. At plat you need to think long and hard and decide whether you want to put your hands in your pocket as well as how deep.

Ultimately , I find master duel extremely interesting and engaging. Although not necessarily always fun. Sometimes depending on your opponent the game is pure torture and quite often combos are so long I actually do chores or other stuff in a second monitor while waiting for my turn.

Whether you are gonna find it fun or not depends on you entirely. And given that the game is F2P I say go ahead and download it and try it for yourself. It's yugioh alright. And it's a good card game. It's just not what Yugioh used to be back in the olden days. And because of power creep and Konami wanting you to buy the new ♥♥♥♥ over the old ♥♥♥♥ it will never again revert to a simpler gameplay.

This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best RPG games to be ever released. And while a zoomer will find it hard to adjust , show it enough patience and understanding for muscle memory and a better grasp of the mechanics to set in and you are going to have on your hands , one of the most gripping dungeon crawling experiences.
This right here is where this game excells , dungeon crawling. It's not called a CRPG for nothing.
If you are familiar with old DnD , stuff like Baldur's Gate and AD&D rulesets , you are familiar with TES Arena too.
If not get ready to get schooled as many times as it takes for you to learn.
Main Quest is real good too!

Probably one of the best mech games one can get their hands on. Easy recommend , and I strongly urge you to get into the table top , or the novels.
You'll lose your mind with the greater Battletech universe. Here is hoping , we'll get a Battletech 2 , with Clan mechs possibly. In the meantime you can use overhaul mods like Extended or Roguetech and there is also the Mechwarrior branch of games. With Mechwarrior V and Online being the games you can most easily play today.

Incredibly frustrating networking issues.
WotC support has failed to come up with a solution , outright admitting so.
This is not just a me thing. IRL friends as well as multiple people online , including the official MTGA Bug report thread , are experiencing game breaking networking issues such as disconnecting from the servers in the middle of a match or being unable to log into the servers in the first place.
Such a shame. Good game and I was actually looking into shoving money.

I wanted to get this for a while now but people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it being a bad emulation with lots of input lag kept me away from it.

The only problem I have with the game is the price. Even on sale it doesn't get discounted much. Let's face it , it's an ancient game with limited replay value. It's not the price they ask for.
Multiplayer isn't dead for 3rd strike , ( don't know about others like alpha or 2 ) however if you want to go online I'd suggest you pay Fightcade a visit instead.
Netcode isn't an incredible improvement however you will find much more players online around the clock over there than here.

Huge Yakuza 0-1-2 fan. Yakuza 3 put me to sleep. Playing the game was a chore instead of something to look forward too. And that is so sad. I won't go into the technical details. There plenty of reviews already doing that. All I am going to say is that it is an unworthy sequel that most likely happened because $$$$ instead of because they wanted to make it.
The story is uninspired , the characters are boring and tired , even mah boi Kiryu .
If you are dying to learn what happens , you should probably watch a cutscene compilation or a let's play on youtube. Buying this game should only be okay as a form of courtesy towards the company that gave us the last 3 games. Other than this , it's a waste of money.
