I am not sure why this game doesn't have as much following / hype as other ARPGs (Souls, GoW, etc).

I could not put this game down and the story got so much more compelling as I got pulled in more and more.

The combat is incredibly fun and rewarding to master. It reminds me of a cross between Monster Hunter and Hitman. If you like either of those two titles you'd love this game.

Can't wait for Forbidden West PC port!

Good buddy bought this for me, and once I got playing I was hooked. I couldn't put it down for a week straight and went from struggle bus to literal greek god. The replay factor is unlike any other game I've played. I can't wait for Hades 2.

Got this (on holiday sale for $8) after watching the Smough-like knight crush someone on Reddit. The entire game is amazing from start to finish. It's like old-school Zelda mixed with Dark Souls.

Very fun, wish there were more! I did 100% steam achievements in 2 days!

i do not like first person shooter single player games very much (as an avid competitive fps player). this game changed my mind, after my friend forced me to try it out.

Despite the feeling that the story remains linear regardless of your choices, this game actually has a bit of replay value. I especially like that it ties in the decisions you made as Lee in S1 (albeit not very impactful).

Even if it didn't have ANY replay value, it's definitely worth the investment for a great story in TWD universe. While repetitive Q smashing might bore some hardcore gamers, the ambience and sense of urgency have you on the edge of your seat. They also did a great job in S2 with directional avoidance which added to the panic and split-second decision making.

I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys the TV series. It gets just as dramatic & gritty, if not moreso.
