While I highly recommend the game, the amount of times it crashed almost made me throw my computer out of the window. Refrain as much as possible from using the machine gun and the mini turrets. They are the main reason the game crashes, idk if its the audio file that makes this or the game ♥♥♥♥♥ itself as soon as it has to calculate the trajectory of 10+ bullets per second. As soon as I stopped using both, or at least started using the machine gun in single shots (much like the rivet gun) and using only ONE mini turret at a time, the game never crashed on me again. Its a shame that I only discovered it waaaay far into the game lol (Fontaine Futuristics).

Story is a big 10 out of 10, but the constant crashes almost drove me insane.

Graphics are nice, it runs pretty well on my potato computer. Huge variety of cars to choose from - although there is one specific car that makes the game too easy too early on. Lots of customization options, and one thing that I liked dearly: you can customizate even how your exhaust sounds. The day and night mechanics are nice.

Only thing that I didn't like was the fact that in a certain points of the game you'll need to grind races that you have already won before, because the game soft locks you behind a (in-game) money and rep barrier.

I just beat the game (no DLCs yet) and so far its awesome. Finished my first run ever with a pure soldier, level 49. Last boss was a bit lackluster, but the rest of the game was 100% on point. Its hard as ♥♥♥♥ if you have no idea how to build, but even then it is lots of fun. It becomes even better when you finally search for actually good builds and shape your character accordingly.

I got a bit lost in the items, there are too many different kinds of bonuses and that confused me pretty hard. This is not bad if you sit down and do the maths, but for a casual player like me, it might be a bit overwhelming.

The loot filter is fire tho, loved it. The "constellation" system (the shrine points) is very beautiful and well-thought.

9/10 would buy again. 10/10 because I got it on the last winter sale (2020->2021).

Edit: I just beat the game on Elite, the "replay" is as fun as starting a new character, if not more. Also bought the DLC and beat it some hours ago. One of the best games I've ever played on Steam in almost 10 years. 10/10.
