I enjoy it a lot and I am anticipating more content.

Pretty good so far, other than a few minor bugs and the fact hardcoded keybindings interfere with rebinds (can't bind anything to V or you lose the ability to melee). Supposedly they're working on a fix for that, at least for the flashlight bind.

It's an excellent game and an easy favorite for me, I wish there were more like it. I come back to it every few years since 1997.
This is just the DOSBox port with no additional enhancements (same as the version on GOG) and you should probably pick up KeeperFX for its bugfixes and enhanced visuals and compatibility. You need the original game files to run KeeperFX, but it's a standalone remake with some additional content (of sometimes questionable quality) restored.

Grrrrrrrrrreetings, Megalord!

It's nice that it works on modern hardware, the visual upgrade is higher resolution everything without fixing visual glitches and overall it's just a little more Stronghold. I guess now we wait for Crusader DE.

It's one of the few games I'm mostly just overall very happy with. I suppose some arcs in the lategame could be more fleshed out, some content there feels like they couldn't quite get it done in time.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Gearing up is fast if you know how, the space combat is a nice addition, I like the flow of things. I feel like the setting allows for some pretty interesting gameplay.

Biggest issue is when people play in a boring way. I'm not willing to test who is more patient around the corner in a video game, but every game is plagued by that or something equivalent.

Teamplay can be difficult since there are no outlines or tags or other indicators. I get the idea, but I wish it at least had something immersive to help with that, like colored armbands.

There currently isn't, but there will soon be a solo queue. Could be good or bad for the game, we'll see.

I enjoy the core gameplay loop.

I don't enjoy the many ways in which Darktide tries to entice me to login and check shops and spend money. I already spent money and beyond recolors of the basic armor that I can add pieces to via penances I can only get interesting cosmetics by paying more real money.

I'm disappointed crafting did not fully make it in and Fatshark supposedly 'forgot' to make the cash shop fair, not that I can imagine a way in which the cash shop does not look predatory.

I prefer the random missions in the selection over the system in Vermintide, but I would like it a lot more if the difficulty was selectable per mission, like in Deep Rock Galactic.

A lot of my thoughts on progression come down to how crafting will be implemented. I think the game absolutely needs the option to reroll various aspects of a weapon and/or the ability to combine 2 of the same to get a better one out of it. Think valence transfusion in Warframe. I want to be able to consistently improve my gear without checking every hour and hoping I get lucky.

Better crafting might make the absence of cross-character progression more bearable, but I still don't get why I can't use the many shared weapons on a newly created character. Going through acquiring the first few weapons I like 4 times seems extremely tedious and unnecessary.

Some penances seem to encourage awful behavior, but Vermintide also had those. I suspect they were also designed with private lobbies in mind, so my issue with them will probably be solved when private lobbies are in.

In summary, I like the game, but I am also apprehensive about already visible tendencies.

I also really, really want toggle ADS.
