Finally, your eyes have found purpose.

This game makes me think of Alien Swarm, Killing Floor and Deep Rock Galactic. It also has stealth mechanics and high difficulty. There are a lot of complaints floating around, I think they are way overblown. There are definitely some issues I wish were fixed. For example, the netcode needs to be improved and matchmaking is rudimentary at best.
Overall a really fun game, you just can't believe half the things people tell you about it.

Old rundowns are now coming back, invalidating another complaint people have.

Generally unsettling in a fun way, if that makes sense. Gets very weird and can be surprisingly funny. Atmosphere is really good, aided by the excellent soundtrack.
I could do without so many spiders, though, as that was getting a bit much for me and I've rarely been bothered by spiders in video games.

Dev is an outspoken transphobe who harasses people on twitter and steam.
Game is meh and previously accessible content was locked behind paywalls.

It's hard enough to keep track of free things to claim in the game already, they could have just given this out via an alert or a login reward or as a twitch drop or via code redemption, all of which are things they already use to distribute freebies.

Amazing game overall, currently has some moderate performance issues for many people.

Most enjoyable entry in the series, as expected from the newest one.

I'll now address common criticism and complaints I've seen.
Performance is slightly below my expectations, but it's perfectly playable at around the recommended specs with relatively high settings and ultra unit size.
I've experienced some bugs, but nothing really game breaking so far. Supposedly disbanding lords does not remove the modifier to upkeep costs, I could not confirm this.
I've had the AI bug out in a siege once and just run around in front of a tower until I won. This is not specific to Warhammer 3, this has happened to me in every single Total War title and it's kind of embarrassing that this is still a thing, but not a huge deal.
I've had 4 or 5 crashes in 30 hours.
I like what they did with the campaign mechanics. I'm playing on legendary and because of the portals I have barely enough time and room to expand into my neighbors, that is how it should be.
The new settlement battles are much better. I think people forget we've previously had towers and barricades and this is that but a bit better.

Plays like TES Oblivion with a different kind of jank. This isn't strictly a bad thing, but the game did not deserve the hype it got. Furthermore, definitely don't trust anyone who touts the historical accuracy of this.

Throwing bricks at cops is emotionally touching in the best way.

As of right now, Bannerlord is more enjoyable than modded Warband already.
Some people complain this is inferior to Warband, but they apparently forgot all the jank not even mods could fix.
Sure, some features could be more fleshed out, but the game works and is fun to play right now.
