It was not a great game leading up to level 16, but at that point it became unplayable.

This game doesn't allow you to play anything in it until you play through the story mode, which is tedious and at times frustrating, until it becomes flat out impossible.

What's more, it becomes so difficult so early that you won't unlock enough other modes to be able to even play the game.

I have one skirmish unlocked and the story mode is a wall I keep banging my head into...

I hate linear games with required story modes, and this is perhaps the worst offender of this mechanic I've ever seen in an RTS.

I kind of can't stand how there are zero hotkeys.

This is a good execution of the bullet hell genre.

But perhaps more amazingly, this is the most Diablo game I've played since Torchlight. The graphics and story in particular hearken back to Diablo II while still being completely original.

It worked as intended.

Let's be honest... everyone loves this game, so nothing I say here will really matter.

I keep coming back to it to try to find what it is people see in it, but I play it for shorter and shorter periods each time. I came back after months and it's even more daunting to try to get back into it.

I wish I got it... but I don't. I tried.

There's very little here. When compared to other games in the genre, there are very few weapons and classes, for instance. It seems like it's incomplete, but also seems to be abandoned.

This game is punishingly hard and random. A game can be one or the other, but not both. There's no learning curve, just a mindless slog through a random number generator hoping that this time, making all the right choices will actually pay off.

Problem is, you won't be given the opportunity to make the choices that will allow victory most of the time, making each run meaningless, as there is very little to learn and even less in the way of incremental progress.

This is one of my go-to games. Don't let my playtime fool you, I got this a while back for free on the Epic Games Store and decided to buy it on here to support them... and get the achievements.

At first I was a bit skeptical, but I find myself liking this more than Mini Metro. Not sure what it is, but I like the mechanics better.
