Vampire Survivors is now the best co-op Castlevania game.

Amicia and Hugo are a wonderful pair to play. You can tell that their creators actually have siblings, because the two feel and act as siblings actually would. The game is a journey between this pair as they try to survive amidst a plague and inquisition that seek to end them. The gameplay felt very solid, but is definitely the same type of gameplay that most action/adventure, over-the-shoulder-third-person games exhibit. Nevertheless, this game didn't feel about the gameplay even if it hadn't been very good. It felt like it was about the emotional bond between an older sister trying to protect her younger brother from all the dangers of a terribly dangerous time.

The devs refuse to implement an anti-screenshake/anti-nausea feature. This game is barfy af.

Sex slavery escape room... What the ♥♥♥♥ were the devs thinking? Not only is this game incredibly crass and tasteless, but the gameplay itself is garbage. This is motion sickness, the game, and the puzzles make little sense as puzzles. This plays as someone's C+ grade university final for a game design class rather than something that was made by someone who actually understands how to build a puzzle. Sorry, not sorry.

Prodeus scratches the itch that the oldest retro shooters scratches, but finally with the added fun of co-op. Do recommend.

The only thing that has ever been worth backing on Kickstarter. A true spiritual successor to many Castlevania games especially Symphony of the Night. If you don't play this game you're truly missing out on something special.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is one of my all time favorite games. With that being said, Gauntlet I feel does not match up to how good Dark Legacy was. The poor character selection is my biggest complaint. Dark Legacy had so many! My second complaint is the game trying to be funny. I just can't take it as seriously. All in all though, it is still an excellent game. Would recommend.
