TL;DR: This game is best played with a dedicated group of two others who are on the same wavelength, gameplay-wise.

Playing single-player is punishing (no getting back up after being downed, same number of enemies so you're frequently overwhelmed)
Playing with randos or friends with mismatched skill levels is frequently frustrating for someone.
Playing with people who are going to play without you is frustrating when they're suddenly more powerful the next time you play because they have 100 more trait levels than you do.
Playing with people who know the world-gen algorithms and what items spawn where is frustrating for people who want to experience it fresh.

Basically: find two friends with roughly the same skill level in shooters, decide to only play the game together, and have fun.

Absolutely adorable game. Solid physics. Incredibly satisfying to swing around and weave webs.

My only gripe is how much of the game relies on just hoisting things up with 100 webs; it's just a teeeensy bit repetitive.

Early Access Review
This game checks all the quality boxes: high quality sound effects, understandable voice lines, nice textures, stable framerate.

It's also super immersive; you really feel like a wizard - at least until your arms get tired!

My main complaint about the game is that it's not longer!

But seriously, my only real complaint is that some of the gestures occasionally fail to register.
