Absolutely broken. Can't launch, just gets stuck now at the R* launcher. I bet the game probably would work fine if it wasn't for the stupid launcher. Great update /s

As someone that prefers to chill on their own rather than be bothered with the cesspit of competitive online multiplayer, I appreciate that this survival shooter can be played solo and with a story to it. It's a bit of a basic story so far, with just over an hour in, but I like that it gets deeper and deeper the further you go in. Yea, I'm gonna say I'd recommend it. However, I would warn that it is a bit on the live service side, but I've managed to play as a 'guest' on my first go without needing to log in. I might not have all the multiplayer features but that suits my needs.

I keep coming back to this to see if it is getting any better. I mean, i have a room full of cats, but.... yea. that's about it. That is the extent of the game. I know it is "idle" but it really is completely idle. Occasionally I click on the cat litter tray and the food bowl. I can play with a sock, I guess. It's just a bit slow and everything costs heaps more than my earnings. I think it really wants you to put money into the game to reach the shop items quicker, but I'm a stubborn old fox that won't do that. So, I can't recommend.

When suddenly, I found myself not playing that AAA title and instead, getting a bunch of morons to hit their head against a rock. For fun. How did I end up here? I dunno, but look out, I'm going back in!

One of those rare games that I end up enjoying so damn much that I come back years later and play all the way through for a second time.

The earliest game in the Tomb Raider series that actually had action controls that we still use in today's games. Halway decent graphics, and the ability to use 3440x1440 monitor with a widescreen setting to stop everything getting squished. It was great during my first gaming session for a little over an hour.
However, coming back to it to continue the story, my 'resume game' option keeps crashing the game instantly, meaning I'd have to start over to continue playing. I'm not prepared to do that, so I guess I move on. Therefore I can't really recommend it.
Ah well it was only a couple bucks...

Epic shouldn't have removed this game. They lost their way.
They can shove their modern games and their launcher up their fortnite skin

It is one of my all-time favourite games.
I remember at the time of launch in 2020 it was really amazing graphics and cards at the time struggled to play the game. It was also considered a bit buggy on launch because of it. Today though, I was impressed by the fact that it runs at full width 3440x1440 32-bit widescreen without any tweaks or patches. Of course, it runs buttery smooth too nowadays.

Aside from the technicals, the reason it stuck out as one of my all-time favourite games is the open-world 3rd-person gameplay, spanning across 3 different playable (and very very different) characters, basic base building, but most of all - the voice acting, the script and the humour. It is such a funny satire comedy game.

The fighting in this game is both thrilling, terrifying and challenging... but ultimately... very very rewarding. Just the right difficulty as well.
Graphics, acting, story, and ancient god themes - all absolutely top tier in gaming. One of those masterpiece games. Buy it, play it.
