This game is really stupid, but fun under these conditions:

1. You have a friend.
2. You ignore the story.
3. You goof off as much as possible.
4. You throw dead bodies around in the back of the supply trucks in co-op. Try to stream it between yourself and your friend for best results and so you can see what they're seeing.
5. You dome all of the friendly NPCs on sight.
6. You have a mullet and a loincloth equipped at all times. (Unicorn shirt is optional, but encouraged).

This will always be my personal favorite FF game. Definitely recommend getting the Satsuki Yatoshi mod, though. It updates the character models a bit and allows you to play at 60 FPS. Pretty nice.

Pick up the bikini DLC for increased immersion.

I'm glad that FF7R is finally on PC after waiting since 2020. :)

On a serious note: So far I haven't run into any issues. I remember people complaining about optimization when it first came out, but it seems to handle 1080p 120FPS just fine atm. I'll update if that changes.

Also don't buy it unless it's on sale. It came out in 2020 and they're charging 70 bucks full price? Do your wallet a favor and wait. I wouldn't have bought it day 1, but it was 30% off.

People need to get better PCs.

Frustrating, but brilliant. 10/10

After giving this game some time and hitting end game, I have to say that this is a step down from World. It feels like they were trying to move forward, but stumbled along the way. It's not a bad game, and still enjoyable, but it feels like it's a spinoff of a monster hunter game that came out several years before World. I got my money's worth, and I'll pick up the expansion, but I do find myself missing World a lot.

I first played this when I was 13 years old and it has been one of my favorite Resident Evil games ever since. It has a charm to it that you don't tend to find elsewhere these days, from an era where voice acting in video games was very hit or miss still, but I love it regardless. The cheesy one-liners, stupid quick-time events, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls just come together to make something truly amazing. I recommend this game to people who won't play a game with bad controls for five minutes and give up. Also remember to use quickturn and organize your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inventory.

I rate this game a very biased 10/10

A solid installment in the Final Fantasy franchise. What it lacks in storytelling and overall depth, it makes up for in likable characters and fun combat. That said, I was letdown by the ending and felt the pacing was off throughout. This could be due to the era of video games that it originally hails from, though, so I tried not to judge it too harshly. Overall, not bad,
