Played a little more. Honestly I wish I could leave a mixed review because that's honestly how I feel about it currently. I don't like the oneshot mechanics in the campaign, but the classes all feel pretty good to play. I do think the game actively punishes you for trying to experiment and try new things, though.

Bosses have a lot of health so it feels like if you're playing something that isn't meta, you're probably gonna get dogged on. Honestly I feel like the current design is very punishing and will probably turn away a lot of new players. The only advice I can give to them is to look up a build and follow it. Don't try raw-dogging the game because it will bend you over and ♥♥♥♥ you in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

As it stands right now, I'd give it a 7/10. I do still think there's a happy medium to be reached with the campaign's difficulty, but after growing kind of used to playing rolling simulator, it's eh.

Great game. Short and sweet.

Shop stuff is overpriced as all hell, but the same can be said about Warframe, which this game takes a lot of inspiration from. Besides the skins, though, everything can be earned in-game (like Warframe) so I can't really be too mad about it. The overall gameplay loop is also pretty fun. I like. :)

As much as I enjoy my time playing this game with friends, so many of the design decisions and how the game is setup is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. I cannot recommend this to anyone new. Trust me, it's a mess of a game. Unless you have a lot of patience, I wouldn't bother. Literally one of the mods in the games is locked behind a 400 day login bonus, to put the stupidity of this game's design into perspective. That and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of artificial time-gating designed purely around keeping up player retention. Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

180 countries are blocked from being able to purchase and play Helldivers 2 despite PSN supposedly not being a requirement anymore. Fix it, Sony. You literally just added 3 more countries to what was originally 177.

I was really looking forward to this because I absolutely adored Battlefront 1 and 2 when I was a kid. But, as usual, game companies have let me down. It's just kinda ♥♥♥♥ and costs way too much for the garbage they're throwing at you. Might end up picking the original games. I wasn't aware they even had online multiplayer still.

Great game. Short, and the English VA is hilariously bad, but I enjoyed playing every minute of it. Took me back to my childhood. This was a game I missed as a kid, but I'm glad I finally got to beat it as an adult. It's a shame the remasters of 2 and 3 were cancelled. I'd love to play them both now.

The main story is the definition of short and sweet. It's nothing too groundbreaking or unique, but it's fun and the characters are likeable. Beat the main story in about 15ish hours, but people can probably do it faster if they don't really care that much about side stuff or exploring like I do. Just getting into the post-game stuff, so we'll see how that goes. Overall, tho, I'm having a lot of fun.

Edit: After 130 hours, I've done all the post-game quests, gotten all the terminus weapons, and beaten proto bahamut a few billion times. Great game. Had a lot of fun. Can be a little grindy at times, but all-in-all, I've had a blast. Highly recommend it.
