I am a city-building sim/general simulation game nerd so I decided to try this one out. I am in love. Yes, some of the mechanics are a bit iffy, but not enough to stop me from enjoying the game. I am not much of a hardcore gamer so I have been playing on easy mode and I honestly find it enriching (no pun intended, lol) and almost relaxing. I think if you wanted you could easily make it a faster pace and more stressful...but I will save that for when I figure the game out. Also...I love the realistic animals and animal noises.

This is one of the few games my potato laptop can run without issues and I have spent an embarrassing amount of time at once playing this game because of it. I had Plague Inc on my phone back in the day and this is like that but so much better. I am actually really awful at this game but I am still addicted to it lol

I bought this game during the Autumn sale because as a child I was obsessed with Battle for Bikini Bottom on the classic XBOX. I can't even tell you how many hours I put into that game. When I saw this on my store page I got so, so excited. I'm only a few hours in but it's so accurate to the original game, with hidden easter eggs here and there. I love how it even uses some of the sound clips from the original game. My only complaint is that the camera can be really wonky, but I'm also playing on keyboard/mouse vs. a controller so it may just be an issue of that (and it doesn't affect gameplay too much once you get used to it). I love the updated graphics, they're almost Slime Rancher-esque because of the cutesy design and bright colors. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the original game. It's nostalgic but also challenging and fun in it's own rite.
