Life Is Strange is a beautiful, well-made game. Unlike other adventures, you will not only be annoyed by having to choose one action during a specific situation but by being able to watch at least the immediate results of every action in that situation and still have to choose one. I must have replayed some conversations a dozen times or more trying to decide which one I'd prefer.
All of that packed into gorgeous graphics and a lovely soundtrack. I'll probably start a second play-through even today, just so I can see how some early decisions influence the decision tree later on. And of course I'll have to find the hidden opportunities to take photographs during the game.

The only thing I was and, at least in part, am still angry about is one inconsistency. At one point early in the game, you're told that if you take an object and then rewind, you keep that object. Later, you have the choice to either take a picture or intervene. Being the smartass that I am, I took the picture, rewound and intervened, only to find out later that altering my choice removed the taken picture from my inventory.

If you do like adventure games with interesting ideas, go ahead and buy all episodes at once. If you're not sure about it, at least give the first one a try. If you don't like adventures, why are you reading this?
