A gripping, emotional story set in a fascinating setting of 14th century France.
The gameplay and stealth mechanics are serviceable and open up in interesting ways as you progress but the game is lacking of any sort of challenge for the most part.
It also features a surprisingly robust crafting and upgrade system.
Visually, A Plague Tale is a stunning game with beautifully realized, dense and detailed environments. The facial animations are rough at some points but it never gets too distracting.
Writing and voice acting are another strong suits and they, along with the rich environments, really helps to immerse the player into the world.
Strong writing also helps to establish all the key characters and you actually start caring for them as the story develops. This also helps to raise the stakes of the story to a new level.
It's a mostly linear experience and you can finish it in about 10-12 hours with little to none replay value.
Overall, definitely a must buy for anyone who enjoys story driven adventures.

There are very few games which consistently deliver the highest quality of experience at each and every stage.Portal 2 definitely falls within those few.
An extremely well written and often times hilarious storyline sets the backdrop for brilliantly designed puzzle set pieces. They are always challenging but never unfair. There is no repetition of puzzles and there'll come no part where you get tired of solving them.
All these qualities are prominently on display in the cooperative missions aswell. These missions focus on team play and leave you with immense satisfaction after figuring out the solution with your partner.
And you'll never run out of content even after finishing the base game thanks to the ingame level editor.
Thousands of commnity made singleplayer and coop levels can be freely downloaded and enjoyed at your own pace.
Bonus - You can also play with your friends locally thanks to splitscreen offline coop. :)

I dont really play many horror games but this is definitely the best one I have played.By a mile.
Atmosphere is unsettling, story is hauntingly good and the background score perfectly compliments the mood set by the game.
There are very few cheap jumpscares and all the scares feel well earned.
The boss battles are extremely fun and pacing is perfect. The game doesnt overstay its welcome.
The game smartly breaks up the overall grim and heavy mood from time to time with the help of simple but fun puzzles and safe houses.
The world building is also excellent. The Baker mansion might seem small and straightforward at first but soon proves to be complex and intricately designed to award player exploration.
Enemy variation is dissapointing as there are barely 3-4 types of common enemies. The gunplay too is just average but it gets the job done.
Overall, its easily one of the best games of 2017 and probably one of the best horror games of all time.

Gameplay :- The hacking is vastly improved from the first watchdogs.Lots of new hacking opportunites are added which makes interacting with the world and its people really unique. The drone and rc car are another excellent additions which opens up many new gameplay scenarios.Apart from that the gameplay is pretty much any standard third person shooter gunplay with a bit of parkour thrown in.Car handling still sucks though. 9/10

Story and Sidequests :- Another major improvement over its prequel, the story is a bit more lighthearted and to the point.Voice acting and cutscenes are fantastic. The sidequests are also surprsingly good and add to the overall development of main story in a meaningful way. 8/10

Multiplayer :- pvp was one of the few good things about watch dogs and watch dogs 2 improves upon it and makes it even more enojyable.Apart from that,wd2 introduces coop which is another great addition. You can team up with other player seamlessly within the world without any loading screen. You are free to do whatever you want from there.Complete the various well made coop activities or just roam the world causing chaos with your partner. 9/10

Visuals :- The game can look pretty beautiful sometimes but overall graphically, its just average.Furthermore,pc optimization isnt that great and it takes pretty much the highest end pc to rn the game smoothly at highest settings. For nvidia users,Ansel is available which is amazing to take in game super high res 360 degrees screenshots. 6/10

Overall :- Highly underrated and overlooked game, but maybe deservedly so(because of the ♥♥♥♥ ubisoft pulled with its prequel).Give it a try if you love open world games. 8.5/10

The amount of fun you can have in this massive world by just randomly roaming through it and causing mayhem is unparalleled.
And yes, the main story is basically "liberate the citizens by destroying everthing which is marked red and setting the whole world on fire" but who cares when the game is this much fun to play.
But sadly the game is poorly optimized and there are performance issues even on high end hardware so keep that in mind before purchasing.

Gameplay :- The parkour and traversal mechanics are solid but the gunplay isnt anything special. However, the ability to craft explosives on the fly and satisfying melee combat keeps the action fresh.Side tombs exploration and puzzle solving is amazing. The skilltree almost always progresses Lara in a meaningful way and there are very less useless skills waste your points on.Crafting is basically the same as its predecessor but more expansive and equally satisfying. 7/10

Story :- Well written main story with fantastic cutscenes and excellent voice acting.Side missions are unfortunately just fetch quests with zero interest in telling a story. 8/10

Visuals :- Hands down one of the best looking games of this generation with amazing cutscenes and beautifully detailed environments. There's also plenty of variety in each location and the world never feels bland and repetitive. 10/10

Overall :- Easily one of the best action games of this generation
