Helldivers 2 will now require a linked PlayStation Network account to play.
This has earned them a "Mostly Negative" status on Steam
Sony is enforcing this rule, as Helldivers 2 is Sony subsidized and published. They quote "safety and security" as the reason. I would like to point out that, if you don't count yearly releases (like MLB and NFL), the Playstation Network has been hacked more times than Sony has released games

after letting the steam port languish for four years Square Enix did the impossible:

they put a better version of the game on gamepass PC with FidelityFX, HDR, borderless mode, and improved performance while doing absolutely nothing about the (very broken) preexisting version

Once a decent game, now ruined by negligence. At one point, it was a groundbreaking game; Amazing textures, massive open world, real time pvp, custom loadouts, clothes, cars, houses; everything a triple A title needed. Nowadays its so plagued with toxcity, cheaters, and actual cybercrime that its more of a hazard to own than just a "bad game". People can force crash your game with the click of a button, view your IP address very easily, and even directly ruin game files, causing the game to not work unless verified/redownloaded. On top of all this, the loading times are a running joke in the community and easily some of the longest of any game. Save your cash, wait for the next one, or more preferably, use it to support a company that actually has respect for its consumers.

As most of the others have said; it feels like it was written by a 12 year old and developed overnight;
It's so boring, short, and simplistic, it almost feels unfinished.

Not even worthwhile as "Dating Sim"/"Softcore Porn Game";
Pass on this one

Game simply wouldn't start upon using "New Game/Load Game" features. After attempting to contact the developer, I was met with nothing but rudeness and unreasonable disrespect, leaving me no other choice but to get a refund. I was excited to play this game. Had it on my wishlist forever. Maybe it would've even been fun, had it worked, and had the dev not been straight up rude for no reason.

UPDATE: So I got the game working after switching GPU's; This game seems to have a massive Nvidia bias. After playing for a bit, I decided to keep the negative review, as this game is infuriatingly inconsistent. As I will outline below:

[Graphics] -

The "human" models are fine, despite looking like stolen assets from the "Tomb Raider" games, and having the worst hair I've ever seen. The forehead down looks like Tomb Raider with RTX on, but the forehead up looks like GTA V on the lowest settings.
The surrounding environments are extremely dated, most of it isn't even 3D upon closer inspection. The enemies are weird, because they don't necessarily look bad, it's just very apparent that little to no effort was put into their models, especially when compared to the models of the characters.

[Gameplay] -

So close yet so far. Some things are amazing. The general shooting is great, being the smoothest and most accurate feeling I've ever used (feels similar and a bit better than Rainbow Six Siege). The movement feels like any other shooter; works great, nothing special.
The problems arise with the inconsistency. Switching weapons can only be described as annoying. Skills are over complicated, and can take way too many buttons presses for the simplest things (Coming from an mmorpg/moba enthusiast) and dodging, one of your only lifelines, just doesn't work half the time. The dodge mechanic was so wildly inconsistent, I took the time to test it, because I was temporarily convinced my keyboard was broken (it wasn't). Lastly, the game has a tendency to throw things at you without warning, causing a lot of confusing situations where you die to seemingly nothing, or have to spend 5 minutes trying to figure out what you are supposed to do.

[Sound / Music] -
The surround sound is pretty good, and more than usable for determining direction. The background music is nothing special, if not stereotypical.

[Optimization] -
Honestly kind of impressive. I was pretty easily able to run the game in high settings, 4K, on a GTX 1060; which is a reasonable GPU, if not dated. Though, this may be a moot point considering wonky graphics, and a complete lack of support for AMD GPU's.

Overall, not bad if you get it on sale for around $5 (assuming you have a NVIDIA Card; As of time of posting, there is no fixes for the majority of AMD cards)

As an avid sim racer (especially when it comes to CodeMasters games), I did quite enjoy this game at first. The graphics were pretty good, especially for 2018; the driving felt smooth, and it was overall very immersive. What cause me to give it a negative review? The game's AI is fundamentally broken, in the same way as many other Codemasters game's. It flags you for collisions when you are the one hit. It disqualifies you for ramming, with no care as to whether it was intentional, under your control, or even your fault in the first place. The other drivers seem to not know basic racing, and will push and shunt you if you turn anything below perfect. The game had a lot of potential, but it is so utterly frustrating playing a game that punishes you for something you have no control over. I can see why it was given away for free.

Its a really good series, but, to get to the point, its heavily censored. Now a lot of people wont see this as an issue, but I do, seeing that the s*x scenes are such a prominent part of the show. Yes, its true that a show dosent "need" to be uncensored; but its very disappointing that it is, considering how much emphasis is put on those scenes. In most cases the uncensored version is the same or a lesser price, so I would look elsewhere and enjoy the show in its true intent.

The happiest I've ever been with a game. On one hand, it gave me the exciting nostalgia of the original Touhou games I grew up with, but beyond that, this game is art. It may not be official, but that does not matter. The artist shows so much passion in his work, I could have easily been fooled. It's so nice to see a modern spin on a game lost to time.

From a technical level, the game is impressive for a small developer. It is basic in its construction, but that's a good thing. It is optimized to the point that any PC could run it, while still maintaining a high quality look and feel.

*I would like to note, that the store page says English is not supported, this is not true, there is an english option in the menu
