Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is what happens when you combine the DNA of the Blue Blur’s previous driving ventures, such as Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders and the Karts & transformations from Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, and mix it all into a top-tier racing game.

For an Unreal Engine 5 game, this runs like a dream, even on the Steam Deck!

Highly recommended, even more so now that (at the time of this review) it’s on sale!

All 29 fighters available from the get go, multiple single-player and offline & online multiplayer modes (including Xbox and PC crossplay), with plenty of unlockables?

Not bad for only $30. FIGHT ON!

Amazing visuals, top-tier gameplay, kick-ass soundtrack (both with licensed songs and their Streamer Mode counterparts), and a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously. All for an actually reasonable price.
