Overall, an enjoyable game, even if flawed.

I'd hoped for a bit more from most of the game mechanics, like exploration and space flight, which the games leaves to a lot of walking by foot and load screens, rather than actually using your ship to fly.

The entire outpost building and resource mining in the game felt redundant, and lost the appeal they had in Fallout 4.

However, the FPS mechanics of the game and its variety of weapons are great, and the questlines are compelling.
The scanning mechanic is strangely fun, a nice way to spend some time in-game just relaxing.
I also found the entire ship building system particularly fun, and its design fascinating.

And finally, the art and design work on the ships are absolutely top-notch, and the same is to be said on the character clothing design. Real commendable work.

One of the most addictive, most clever games I've ever played. I cannot get enough of it.

This game ticks all the right boxes for a satisfying puzzle/strategy game experience. It has so much depth that it is nearly impossible to master everything, which only makes it more interesting every time I get back.

And that's without even mentioning playing this game with friends.

It's hard to believe this is an Early Access game.

A must play and highly recommended.
