Yeah, so that was 5 hours worth of laughs, tears, and emptiness. I had more enjoyment making fun of the fact that I was playing as a figment of Winter's imagination than I did actually playing the game. The graphics suck, the lighting sucks, the aliens suck, and the story generally sucks - but my friend and I had a good time coming up with ridiculous scenarios like that to explain the overall suckiness of the game. Would I like to have those hours back? Yeah probably - that way I could watch the movies instead.

I can't believe I played this game for 6 hours in one sitting...it is awesome.

Just being present in the Renaissance cities of Firenze and Venezia is awe-inspiring. Ubisoft should get even more credit for creating an excellent game. The first Assassin's Creed had good gameplay, but became very tedious and repetitive (though had a great story, an introduction to the eternal conflict between the Templars and Assassins). Assassin's Creed 2 built upon the first and introduced so many new gameplay elements to make this version so much more enjoyable. Ezio also seems like such a relatable character compared to Altair...and you literally follow Ezio from his birth - which makes this game a novel of Ezio's life. That combined with the fantastic intrigue and historical roots of the Assassin's Creed plot, as well as the wonderfully believable settings in Renaissance Italy make for a game, nay a series, worth playing.

Enough said. Buy it now if for some unearthly reason you haven't already.

Amazing single player campaign, hilarious dialogue (or monologue), epic mutliplayer design, awesome background music and end credits (Goodbye my only friend. - Oh, did you think I meant you? That would be funny if it weren't so sad...), and of course, you can't forget "AHHH BIRD BIRD BIRD BIRD!"

BUY IT. This game is worth every penny.
