Easy Day Studios has released this game as Abandonware. The mod community has tried to fill in the gaps that EDS left in the game content-wise, but the mechanics issues are still apparent.

HITMAN is a game that takes advantage of the episodic structure of its release. Once an episode is released, the gap between content releases allows you to perfect the map and find the areas that help you become the ultimate assassian.

While it was fun to run around in 50's-era Mafia run Empire Bay, there wasn't much to do after you completed the missions.
