Great aesthetics and fun, simple gameplay. It would be neat if it had a little more flushed out/deeper story line but as is it's a great game. It would be a cool add for them to make some type of open world co-op gameplay for end game to make it persist after you finish the main story line.

I'm amazed there's not more discussion in the reviews about the absolutely horrid control mechanisms. The keyboard and mouse response feels like a pathetic first stab at pre-alpha controls, I tried my flight simulatorr Saitek Flight Yolk, Throttle Quadrant and Rudder Pedals and couldn't get a good tune on sensitivity. The best I could come up with is my PS4 controller and it was still clunky to me. My PC friends near all said they near had to play with a traditional fighter joystick and disable all mouse controls. That's pretty sad for a game that's this far in it's lifespan.

To note, it's not a PC performance issue, I'm running a Ryzen 1700x, 16gb of corsair 3200 and a 1080gtx with storage on a corsair mx3000 1tb ssd.

I'm still going to give it some time, but the controls and control/response are so pathetic it's frustrating enough that I wish I didn't bother buying it to try it.

Ultima Online has aged a little bit, but girls did not. He creepered out the younger more immature Runescape and knocked her up. 9 years later a new game popped out called Albion Online. Albion has traits from both Mom and Dad. Some of the complexity of Ultima, but definately some of the immaturity of Runescape. So far, so good.

I will say, though, the tutorial sucks about as hard as Runescape must have to get UO to knock her up....

Who would have ever guessed I would get addicted to chasing around virtual soccer balls with futuristic cars on a computer... Addicting gameplay. Only downfall is a horrible community that hates anyone who is better than noob but not e-sports ready.

Oddly addicting game. I purchased it with a coupon and would pay full price now that i've played it. The game is oddly addicting, with creepy/odd gameplay. The soundtrack is very good for a game in the price range. My only "gripe" is that either I really suck at it or it's very hard to complete; after many attempts I haven't had one successfull pass.

It's a nice pick up and play for a short bit game.

Would definately recomend to add it to your library.

MAC USERS BEWARE: READ FORUM FIRST BEFORE PURCHASE. - GAME PLAY IS A TON OF FUN THOUGH.

Bought the game, can't play it. So it doesn't matter to me how good it is. Dev acknowledges major mac compatability issues in the forum but there's no fix. Shouldn't be listed as a mac compatible game when it's known to have major issues and is listed as full release.

Update: Developer was quick to work with me and is trying to troubleshoot so I will vouch for their care about their customers.

Update 2: Developer found a way to get the game sort of running on my machine. The gameplay is fun but I still wouldn't recomend it to Mac user with the amount of issues and poor performance on Mac. Hopefully a unreal engine (the engine they use to run the game) update that is supposedly coming down the pipe will fix the issues with Mac. In the meantime i'd recommend that Mac users stay away.

Early Access Review
As a real life diver I was excited to come across a diving game that actually did what a diving game should to do; simulate wrecks, aquatic life, adventure and exploration. I've played eDiving (simulator), Infinite Scuba and WoD (the three diving games I know of as currently supported) and without a doubt WoD is the most polished and has the most potential to continue to be the best available.

The new mission creator is cool, and integrates pretty well into the way the game maps work. The wrecks are intriguing and well laid out, the aquatic life is interesting and the new schooling behaviors are great.

The game is still early release, and as such features, maps, and even bugs (to be expected) are rolling out on continual basis, but the developers keep a weather eye on the forums and user communications and do a pretty darn good job of addressing everything as it comes and goes.

The graphics are decent, but could use some frame rate optimization which the developers have acknowledged and are working on currently.

There's definately a few things I'd like to see added/changes (and you can read posts from myself and many others on the official forums), but the developers are doing a great job of communicating their plans and taking our user advice.

If you're a diver, a fan of games like Endless Ocean, or just the "explorer" type, definately take a moment to look at this game and hopefully you'll join our network of divers in game.
