I wish this game was a good successor to SWAT 4, but it's genuinely a mess in a lot of ways.

The tone of the levels are all over the place. The first level is just a basic gas station robbery gone wrong, immediately followed up by the second level being based on swatting, except there's no moral ambiguity and the streamer is comically evil. The AI is still a mess, with enemies being able to John Wick you with ease and rarely ever seem to comply even when flashed or stunned. I'm honestly very disappointed in the final product and the developer promising a game similar to SWAT 4, and ending up releasing a game with poor mechanics and terrible story.

also lol. ai art (go look at the menu screen for relapse, it's a joke) and unoptimised asset packs all over. amazing work taking my money for garbage like this

let me preface this by saying this is one of my favourite games of all time.

the problem is konami is incredibly incompetent. a modder fixed nearly every issue over the course of a week or two. amd has broken effects unless you use an older driver version

a genuine shameful port of an actually good version of one of the most important games of all time. an insult to its legacy, even.
