Game goes hard.. and one of my first experiences in modern era turn based tactical combat rpgs. Extremely well executed game and is an absolute steal on sale even in 2024/25!

cl_righthand 0 doesn't work.

I've only recently gotten into CRPGs with DOS2 and now BG3. As a non DnD player, but rpg enthusiast, this game is incredible. Having so much fun playing it and going through various combat strategies!

When you buy the game and have friends who play it, it's not that bad.

Slow starting and took me a while to get hooked on the characters and plot.. but once I forced myself to sit down and put a solid amount of hours into it I'm very much enjoying it.

Excellent addition to an excellent series. Very much enjoyed it, with this one being my favourite of the trio.

Really loved this game, wanted to buy the DLC but the game constantly crashes to desktop now. The only change in hardware has been an upgrade to a Radeon RX480 GPU, which runs the game great for about 5 minutes before crashing. Haven't had issues in any other games.

So do I recommend it? Yes, but not if you're running an RX480/580. The game just doesn't work anymore.

The single player campaign of this game is absolutely stunning. It's a great story with superb game play.

However, the replayability of this game is essentially non-existant. The "replay a mission" mode is very boring and the card system that integrates with it is very lack luster.

As for the DLC, I honestly can't believe they are selling "hardcore 1 death mode" for $10.99. There are essentially no good DLC items for this game, no good multiplayer (Gears of war style hordes, death matches, coop missions like GTA 5, etc)..

Probably my biggest gripe with the game is that it's $70 for a game you'll finish in 10 hours with no replayability!

TakeTwoInteractive just killed modding in this game by sending a cease and desist to OpenIV (A single player mod) to try to force people into microtransactions for content online. Do not buy this game or support it.

Brings back memories of playing on Heat.Net... What a great game, the nostalgia is real!
