Amazing game that anyone who has even remotely enjoyed a Sonic game should play. It is insane in how many points this game surpasses its inspiration. Game play wise this feels AAA with cel shaded graphics, not unlike other great games like Hi Fi Rush. The two weak parts of this game are the forced combat sections and the story. Combat is extremely shallow and detracts from the core of the game, and the story is ridiculous. I hope there's a 4th game soon.

Feels awful to play

By far one of the best stories told in a game. The less you know about it going in the better, but this is a game that deserves a full recommendation to anyone who enjoys single player games

One of the best action games I have played. The music, combat and atmosphere are amazing. Never played any game of the franchise before and this left me incredibly satisfied.

By far the best third person shooter I have played. This is at the level of Bioshock in what the game tells you does so you feel different as a gamer. Although in my opinion, although the gameplay is nothing special, the writing, design, and animation of the characters is unlike anything I have seen.

The game is a blast at first, but it becomes ridicously repetitive. With an oversized world, stupidly accurate enemies (on hardest difficulty, otherwise the game´s a joke), and monotonous missions, you´d have to be one of those emergent players who have tons of fun just messing with the world.

The game is not without its flaws, it has frequently unfair stealth and for a good chunk of the game you do not know what the hell with a lot of things unless you go to a wiki. Nonetheless, it is an amazing gaming experience. The game is surprisingly varied, no situation overstays its welcome. Sometimes you are going stealthy, others you go full blast mode and sometimes you do not see a shootable enemy for a good amount of time, but none of these happen for too long. Once you get the hang of it, the game turns a challenging, mostly fair and rewarding experience. With very little to no handholding, this a refreshing experience as a game in general.
