Struck by lightning as he bloomed into being, Gaphfly's need to replicate the Roar of the Sky got him exiled when his drumming drowned out the Dryads' ability to hear their sacred Hum of the Earth. Upon getting kicked out of an open-jam for a 47-minute drum solo, his 3 future bandmates, also in attendance, invited him to help start the act that became The Zom-Bois.
